Unfortunately this is the first time I’ve ever given a review; and the whole situation was so poorly handled I couldn’t resist. To start- this message is the for the owner, Mr. Dom; and anyone else who considers ordering a pizza from this porely ran establishment. Ordered one large pizza for delivery to Tenova Hospital in Powell for my brother, who was spending the evening with our mother; where she is receiving treatment. After verifying they delivered there, I asked the owner to given the delivery person my number to call, “When they were leaving so I could have my brother waiting in the hospital lobby.” Apparently they were closing an hour early due to slow business, which I completely understand (given I have worked in the food industry for over 5 years) I also found out how impatient of a day it was when the delivery person called me 5 times within 3 minutes. Finally after returning to my phone, I called the number back and received backlash for not answering, during this time- 4 minutes had passed from the first call until I was able to return the call back. I understood- but then became angered because the delivery person was already at the location and searching for where the pizza was supposed to go. The establishment is 5+ miles from the hospital, which seemed impossible to make it there within the period they called (just to give myself and my story a little bit of credit) The owner, Dom, continues to bash me for not being next to my phone, and then explains that his wife is actually the one delivering the pizza (her business to, right?) After returning the ear chewing he was giving me, I was then told he he was cancelling the pizza. It clearly showed tonight that Mr. Dom was more worried about other things than making/delivering a pizza to my mother and brother. This was a first and will also be the last, good luck Mr. Dom! Your pizza was...
Read moreWe ordered the fried mushrooms, chicken Alfredo, kid's spaghetti, taco pizza, and carrot cake.
The fried mushrooms were my favorite part. They arrived hot and still crispy with a thin breading that was really tasty. I wish I'd gotten a few more mushrooms for the price 9/10
The Taco Pizza is loaded with toppings on a very thin crust. It made it a little difficult to eat without falling apart, but the taste was pretty good. 7.5/10
The chicken Alfredo was what I was really hopeful for being good. The chicken was really salty, but that actually works for me. The fettuccine noodles were cooked really well; not overdone like so many pastas you get to go. The sauce honestly tastes like the jarred sauce I've used at home (Bertolli) which doesn't bother me... It's just something to consider if you're craving Alfredo sauce that tastes more like cream/butter/Parmesan. It was a pretty good value since it also came with a salad and garlic bread 8.5/10
The kids spaghetti was a really good size for $3.00 with well cooked noodles and a robust marinara. 8/10
The carrot cake was moist and sweet. We got a good sized piece, too 7/10
Conclusion: I would order from here again! The delivery was within the expected timeframe and the food arrived hot. I definitely need more of those fried...
Read moreLike many other comments we are ranking this place low because of the absolutely horrible customer service. We call on January 31st. A Friday. Ask what time they close. Young lady asked ME what day of the week it was. I told her it was Friday. She said "9:30". We called back at 8:40. No answer. Called 4 times. Eventually the young lady answers and says the WRONG BUSINESS NAME. At first she said "Pizza Express!" When we determined it was Papa Doms she informed us they had already closed. We asked "what time do you normally close?" To which she said "I don't know. It's hit or miss"
I've heard the pizza from here is pretty good. Guess I'll never know. Between them closing and going home whenever they feel like it and not knowing where they work I'm not sure how to even get food from this place.
