We were there on opening night. It was also graduation night for the high-school. The owner came to our table two or three times. He seemed nice and friendly. He made sure we had chips and salsa, but they never brought us the soft drinks we ordered. We later realized they didn't bring our soft drinks because they never intended to serve us the food we ordered. There were ten people in our group. We waited for over two hours and finally left without eating. There were at least three other families celebrating graduation day that left before us. They, too, had waited for hours. There is no telling how many groups left after us. It was obvious that they were catering to the customers who were drinking alcoholic beverages. The owner of this establishment gave me the impression he was not concerned with family type business.
BELOW IS REVISION TO MY ORIGINAL REVIEW.
After discussing my review with family that live in Presidio, it appears as though I may have been a little harsh in my initial review. I am told that the Grande Opening night was not an accurate reflection of this establishment and more of an anomaly.
I am told the food is very good and the service is excellent. Casa Agave Cantina Y Cocina is actually a favorite place to dine for my family that lives in Presidio. At their recommendation, I will definitely give Casa Agave another opportunity to impress me, and I am looking forward to dining there. I am told by family members that I will not be disappointed with the food or...
Read moreI’ve gone there with my husband and the kiddos a couple times, and don’t get me wrong, the food is great, but every time we go the bill is always very high. I understand that this is meant to be high end, but high end in Presidio doesn’t sound like a good idea considering how poor it is around here, and I would say that this place is good to eat at often if you have money. One thing I will say though is that the salisbury steak is extremely disappointing for the price of it, and I was pretty surprised when it was brought over to our table. The service is good, but we’re very sad and disappointed to see Giovanna gone, she would be the one to serve us every time we went. She was beautiful with awesome service, and her energy was always very welcoming and lively. I think me and my husband will only be coming often for drinks on the weekends but food probably only every...
Read moreService is bad, someone in my group said the frozen margarita was too salty and wanted the mango instead as it might be less salty, the bartender said he couldn't exchange without manager approval. But he was good enough to add some sweetner and that helped with the flavor.
When we ordered food we were told it would be a 45 minute wait at minimum because of all the orders ahead of us. There was only three other tables totaling 6 people.
I think the bartender was trying his best but maybe their management doesn't know how to run a restaurant like this efficiently and with customers satisfaction in mind.
Food is really good tho, for that I'll bump it...
