Visited Princeton with family. Stopped by at this location to pick up 2 cups of medium coffee to go. Long lines, waited patiently and finally got my turn to place my order right away. Transaction completed but forgot to order a cup of water for my 7 year old son. I asked the female attendant kindly for the water but immediately told meβ if you want water, you have to get back in line, claiming itβs their policy to do so. I explained, I had just paid, and was just waiting for my order to be made. She rudely replied that it didnβt matter and that if I want free water, I must get back in lineβ¦. Thought this was a bit over the top and have never experienced this the many years Iβve been a customer of this company. About 10 min later and still waiting for my two cups of paid coffees, I asked another female attendant for the water and the original first female attendant interjected, stopped what she was doing and once yells at me to get back in line if I want water. This was a very upsetting experience. She claimed to the rest of the staff that I violated βtitle 3β and I needed to be escorted out and trespassed!!!!!! OMG, Finally walked out after getting my coffee very much confused as to why this happened.
I gather this type of staff behavior and unprofessionalism is well tolerated by its management, franchise owner...

But every seasonal drink, cold foam, mocha, matcha, etc. at one time is ridiculous.I would also understand if this happened occasionally. But it is a regular occurrence. Also the music choice is not good for studying (I heard gasolina and pitbull one time). I donβt ever leave negative reviews but I am a bit annoyed today. Service is good though.
Edit: Wow. I had the most unpleasant experience today that I could not even stay in the store to study. The point of reviews is to share your honest opinion of a store which is what I did. And I think it was very understanding and appropriate (I waited a year to post it lol). Today when I said "thank you" to a barista, she confronted me about the review I just left and accused me of being rude because they were sold out of items during the "half-marathon day". However, my review says this is a regular occurrence. She also said "I go to school with you" which I am not sure how that's relevant. I usually had a pleasant experience which is why I gave a good service rating. But, my experience today caught me so off guard and was so unprofessional that I had to lower it. Even my friends on campus and family said this was way out of line. At least I got a free gift card...

But staff here just poured hot coffee into a plastic container. The plastic container literally started softening. I explained I want cold coffee, and staff got really rude and kept saying βbut you want no ice. No ice means hot. This is what you get for no ice.β Had to explain several times that I want a cold drink without ice and the staff just said it doesnβt make sense and it doesnβt work that way.
