I was so excited for this to open giving us another choice for coffee besides the dirty Starbucks down the street. The decor is warm and inviting with the exception of the very loud jukebox blaring in the dining area. I thought maybe it was just an oversight since my fist visit was on the second day of opening, however, I was there this morning with three of my friends ( former Starbucks regulars for years looking for a new home) and all of us commented on how loud the music was. One of my friends went up to the counter to ask them to "Please" turn the music down and was prepared to say "Thank You" after he did so. But, the gentleman behind the counter informed my friend that company policy is not to adjust the volume on the jukebox; sorry. We all tried to ignore the loud music and enjoy each others company but finally had to leave. I had a headache for an hour due to the overbearing music. We won't be back. Such a shame that you cannot listen to your customers. Prospect is a funny area; if you don't know and listen to your audience, they will show you the door. I hope for your sake you adjust your volume. I saw two other groups of people open the door, stand in line for a minute and then leave without ordering. Not sure if it was related to the loud music or the lack of seating in...
Read moreY'all I love desserts! We were driving down the River Road with no destination in mind really... We had gotten toward what seemed like the end and I pulled into this shopping center parking lot to check maps and make a plan with my friend of where to go from here.... THATS when I saw it!
A sign declaring that this business had the best chocolate chip cookie in KY! Well... with a declaration like that I knew I needed to try one. The sun was shining BRIGHT and it was hard to tell if the business was open. I took a chance and the door opened... to a beautiful cafe style vibe with cake plates and desserts on the counter, a nice seating area and a few friendly faces behind the counter.
After browsing a bit I decided on a chocolate chip cookie - of course- and a peanut butter sandwich type cookie. It was tough choice between the peanut butter and an oatmeal sandwich (while writing this I def wish I had gotten BOTH!). As soon as I got into the car I dug right in. WOW! The chocolate chip cookie was firm outside by so gooey inside. Delicious! The peanut butter was soft and chewy and the I loved the filling.
Stop what you are doing if you are reading this and go there now! You need...
Read morePlease and Thank You has always and forever been a favorite local Lou place of mine. The staff is warm and welcoming, and the music on the jukebox is always playing amazing classic song choices that adds a hint of nostalgia. I finally got to visit the new Prospect location, and it did not disappoint. The seating is quaint and adorable, the fireplace is inviting, my Butterscotch Latte was delicious and the latte art was so cute I almost didn't want to drink it. I love that each of the 4 locations has something different to offer, while keeping that same PTY feel. I'm a full time photographer, and the Prospect location was cozy and will definitely become my new...
