Neighbor's BBQ — Restaurant in Prosser

My husband and I are OTR drivers from Florida so we always look for good local spots when we travel. We decided to try Neighbor's BBQ due to the reviews and easy location to the truck stop. We were not disappointed! Smoked Chicken Salad was so great that we decided to buy more to take on the road with us for sandwiches! Mac and cheese was super creamy and thick with a hint of pepper. My husband had the brisket which was just as good as having brisket in Amarillo! I consider myself a connoisseur of banana pudding so I had to try theirs. Needless to say I was extremely happy! The banana pudding was nicely layered with the pudding up top, then a layer of sliced bananas followed by nilla wafers. Truck drivers Loves will let you drop your trailer so that you can come by and grab yourself some grub!...

My family decided to pickup an order for a family gathering from here. It was a larger order multiple items. The food was packaged well and got home in tact. All items were still warm we we got home and we were able to plate it and serve family style. The food was great. As we had used pick up from another company, it just hadn't been so great of late, so trying neighbors and the drive over to Prosser in the opinion of the family was worth the drive. The next day we took the left overs and with a few additional items made a child and our own cornbread. I have been back twice since then when I drive over to my acupuncture service in Prosser. Driving on Gap Rd in Prosser Washington not far off I-82, I was heading south towards Harvest Foods and in the parking lot I saw this nice new southern style barbeque trailer with a Texas style pit behind and what looked like mesquite wood stacked beside the pit. It was 12:30pm so I parked and walked up and was greeted immediately. They asked if I had any questions on the menu and what my choice might be. I chose the pulled pork sandwich and one side, coleslaw. They have a brisket sandwich, chicken, brisket and pork ribs. Neighbors barbeque is real pit cooked food and the sauce is so good, homemade?
