Excellent place!! I'd easily give them an extra ⭐ star if I could. When we arrived, they were very busy, but they made time to greet us. We went there on a recommendation from the campground we were staying at.... and we're impressed. We were constantly checked on, the staff had conversations with us, our waters were kept full, the food was excellent, awesome Bloody Mary's and great overall atmosphere! We would have loved to try their breakfast, but they didn't open until 11 am and we had to get on the road to head home before that. We enjoy Bloody Mary's and generally try them wherever we travel too.... so yes, we've had them all over the board and beyond appreciate a good one especially with house made mix. Their Bloody Mary was excellent and made with house made mix and some garnishments including what seemed to be a house made pickled carrot wedge. One thing he could consider is offering a unique "loaded" version.... I do believe that would be a huge hit. We will definitely be back when we are in the area.

The service here was fantastic, friendly and fast without being intrusive. The atmosphere was homey, clean, & welcoming. The cocktails were well balanced. Where they lost a star was the food unfortunately. Whilst it was visually appealing, it was sadly very bland. Everyone in my party had to add way more salt and pepper than I typically have to in a restaurant. The orzo, mashed potatoes, and fried zucchini didn't taste to have been salted at all (I'm sure they were, but not nearly enough compared to other restaurants I enjoy). The crust to the cheesecake was also super soggy. Maybe some like that, I did not. I might try here again sometime to see if our meal was a fluke. Based on the high reviews I expected better- and since this was a celebration dinner, it was a particular let down.

The Prosser House is a hidden 💎!! Nestled at the base of some hills and situated within a vintage home of an era long past. Found this spot on a whim. I was looking for good hometown cooking and I found it. Kicked off my visit with some "Battered Green beans" đŸ”„đŸ”„ which btw should be an alternate choice to fries..for sure!! Ordered the "1896" Burger named after their year of inception..that too was đŸ”„đŸ”„ Came with a small cup of clam chowder which did not disappoint. All in all this place delivered some big town flavor in a small town market. Prices are a bit on the higher side but the overall experience more than made up..not a bad spend at all 😎 Check out the pics and The Prosser House...you are sure to enjoy it!!

I was really looking forward to dining at this restaurant, as we had read reviews that were glowing about how great it was. We had planned a dinner there, bit fortunately, decided to have a lunch before having dinner later in the week there.. As described online, and in YouTube videos, it is an ideal place to have an excellent dining experience with food and accommodations. Well, call us disappointed! First off, it sits right on the main road through Prosser, so if dining on the patio, you're dealing with road noise all through the meal. When you go in the restaurant, is is plain, bland, all hard surfaces and extremely noisy. You sit at a basic table, with basic chairs, no table coverings, and if lucky, a salt and pepper shaker on the table. The menu is very small and limited. It appears the biggest sellers are burgers, which people rave about. Well, they're overcooked and overpriced for what you get. And, if they read this review, Im the guy who asked for a slice of red onion on my burger (I was told they come with chopped red onions). Okay...So, I end up with a burger, no chopped onions, but a small slice of red onion on the side. When I get the bill, call me surprised when I was charged for the slice of red onion! Obviously, we did not have dinner there later in the week. From my viewpoint, if this is the best Prosser has for dining, the town is in trouble. It is your nominal burger joint with an attached bar that the locals thrive on. Maybe I was there on a bad day, but I won't be back. Update: apparently I struck a nerve here. The owner does not know that there are two video reviews of Prosser House on YouTube. Suggests he dies a search to. Verify...

The wife and I stopped in last week (Sunday) for dinner, and were totally disappointed. We rarely get a date night and wanted to go somewhere local to enjoy a good steak. A lot of friends and family have recommended this spot, so we stopped in. Needless to say we walked in and were stared at by a handful of employees at the bar. An employee was having a conversation and made eye contact with us while we stood at the door. He finished his conversation and sat us at a table and said our server would be right with us. He went back into the bar area and continued his conversation with the other employees. In the meantime a young girl walked past us and went out to the deck. There were around 5 different groups out there, and 2 of them still had their menus. The wife and I continued to wait and the server that sat us came back and asked if we had any questions. We said no, and he walked away. He never once asked if we were ready to order or if we wanted anything to drink. We were sat inside right next to a blaring speaker and could barely hear each other, and after waiting for 20 minutes or so, we decided to leave. As we stood up, the server from the deck said she would be right with us with an attitude. I'd have an attitude as well if my fellow servers weren't helping me, especially if they're not busy. A bus boy did bring us water. Again we were totally bummed because we were excited to try this location. Incredibly bad first impression. Definitely...

My wife and I were over from Bothell today taking care of some business and ate lunch here with our friends. Nice day and we sat on the patio. We had a nice table but there was a music speaker over our heads. We asked if the music could be turned down a bit so we could talk, but it didn't happen after our first request. We asked a second time and the music was turned down to a more appropriate level. But then approx 20 minutes later the music was turned up again. You should put this speaker in a better place.

I had the pulled pork sandwich and fries. The fries were good, the sandwich was close but could have been better. The bun was nice, the slaw was good, the pork was tender and tasty. What really let the sandwich down was the bbq sauce. It really needs some more oomph to it. My wife had the fish and chips and she said they were really excellent. They looked good to me too! Our friends had the Huevos Rancheros which got a 'wouldn't order it again' review, and the French Dip sandwich which looked great. The asparagus soup also received good reviews.

Three of the four of us requested ketchup. The funny/not so funny part is we each requested at separate times. It would have been nice if our wait staff had asked all of us if we wanted ketchup all at once.

I was a bit surprised that there wasn't salt and pepper, Ketchup or other condiments on the tables as a standard set.

Thanks for lunch....
