Bill's Place — Restaurant in Proviso Township

I I've been a Bill's customer for many many years. A few years ago I became wheelchairbound And now need to rely on their delivery service. This problem is a problem over about twenty different deliveries. I typically order a roast beef sandwich and some sort of side. I always ask the order taker to make sure that the sandwich comes to be totally drowned in the gravy sauce like super wet. That's the only way I like my beef sandwiches. I probably spend more than half of my time telling the order taker exactly how I want the sandwich. Drown it in juice and put the wrapped sandwich in a container. This is how I like it, and the second half of the sandwich that I can't eat will be enjoyable the next day. Drown the sandwich. Every other beef place does it on request. Finally the one that I had about a couple weeks ago from them was perfect. So I explained it again to the guy that took my order last night. And what I got delivered was dried bun with hardly no juice on my beef.. When I called back to complain the guy hung up on me Really???? I really wanted to talk to the manager. Val??? But the guy that was on call who said his name was Junior I think basically told me that it's my fault for not telling him how I wanted to be made. Is this guy fricking crazy???? This is going on long enough. They have lost a long time customer. I don't think I'm asking my sandwich to be the way I like it is unreasonable. Including a few pictures of...

I stopped in here to grab a quick bite, and I went to the perfect place because the restaurant offers just the food I wanted, like hotdogs and beef. It is just basically a cute spot. The place was clean and it was not busy, like it was not full, but there were also a few customers inside, including me. It was my first visit to the restaurant, and I was surprised to see such a large menu with so many different options. It was like it was really a huge menu with food that any person could ever want. The staff are also very nice and friendly. I only stopped in for a quick bite and ordered an Italian beef sandwich, fries, and, of course, a drink. As much as their menu has a variety of options, the prices are also fair and reasonable, which was really great. The food I ordered cost me like half of what it would be if I went to other restaurants. The food, particularly the Italian beef, even has a generous serving, especially the beef in it, which really tastes delicious. That was probably the most reasonably priced Italian beef with a generous serving that I have ever eaten in my life. I definitely like their Italian beef. It is not the best, but I really like the taste of it as well as the serving and, of course, the price. I definitely liked my first experience here, and I would love to...

Unfortunately this review is a little late but during the pandemic time moved different for all of us! I was working as a night shift ER tech and I got off at 9am from a 14 hour shift. I was sooo tired and drove past bills on my way home and saw a few cars outside. I decided to grab a hot dog before heading home realizing I hadn’t ate anything in a while. I went in and to my surprise it was just the owner back there cooking up for a few guys sitting in the dining room. I approached the counter and asked for a hot dog. He made me a hot dog and some fries and I was out in a few minutes. It was delicious. It wasn’t until a few days later, driving by at the exact same time I realized they didn’t open until 11am. I realized I had popped in on the owner before their business hours began. I want to thank him for that.
