Montego Bay Restaurant & Grill — Restaurant in Proviso Township

This place doesn't have anything that's on the menu. I placed an order for me and 2 co-workers, I was expecting 3 Rib dinners ( I went at 12:45 pm right after they opened at 12:30pm) although the time on their website is not right. I was informed they only had enough ribs for 2 dinners, which was 3 bones each. No problem with that. However, you just opened. They didn't have sides that were on the menu right after opening 15 minutes. The ribs taste good. The place was completely smoked out. You can't wait inside for your order it's too much smoke indoors. The service was fine, but I won't return due to the inconvenience of the menu and the time that's posted on the website that has not been right for months. I come from Naperville to this place because I work nearby. I will not return. I will take all my business now to the new jerk place JG Grill in hillside. They have been wonderful...

A lot of negative activity occurring around the establishment.

The food was ok. The rice was not good and plantains were not ready to be fried. Jerk chicken and cabbage were good. This was my second choice because they did not have certain meats that were on the menu. Also no menu online.

Staff does have an attitude and not friendly. A lot of men gathered around and in the restaurant to harass women.

Parking is not great and a lot of suspicious traffic in the back alley. Men I did not know tried to rudely direct me where to drive and I almost damaged my car and when I reversed (without the strangers approval) the men outside became hostile.

Ordered oxtail dinner however I don't understand why (they)establishments don't update their internet site especially since they aren't open for inside dining. People rely on accurate information when ordering online. They say they offer the Oxtail lunch special online but when speaking to the person on the phone she said that was old...Well change it or update your information please. Other then that, food was ready in the time frame promised; They offered a generous portion. Food was hot in temp but also in hot spices as well as though there were hot peppers added. Again let people know ahead of time if thats how you serve them...not everyone can temper very hot food like that. The spirit of excellence will get you repeat customers every time...lets take this downtime...
