Paul's Pizza & Hotdogs — Restaurant in Proviso Township

We got a strong recommendation to try this local establishment from a supplier- ChemGrout-we were visiting in the area.

I have never had italian beef from this region so off we went.

Walking thru the front door, the entire establishment was clean, covid compliant. Great signage (outdoors, too) and pictures in the dining area. Very comfortable experience.

Family owned since day 1. Paul, the owner is at the front counter... you meet him first, he tells you about the foods and takes your order while making suggestions to "tweek" the foods to tour individual liking! Really... where does that happen in this day??? All of employee's we met were just as gracious as Paul. The Now the FOOD!... Let me tell you...EXCELLENT. Large portions, delicious food, and a HUGE variety to choose from. We had the Italian beef combo loaded. Sliced beef, local sausage on top, loaded with their peppers and veggies. I get mine HOT. All of this on a fresh roll that is pre dipped in the italian beef Au Jus ...heaven.

I also tried the loaded Chicago hot dog w/no roll...perfect...just had to do it!

On my way out, I wanted to purchase a jar of their own locally homemade HOT Gardinier and HOT Muffulata (they make MILD of both for the less adventurous) to take home... Paul gave them to me, no charge. I will update my review for these offerings after I have tried them it home.

Other patrons in the restaurant seemed just as happy with the food/service that received... Ohyeah, there is a very nice person that cleans up and sanitizes your table/chairs before and after you indulge. Don't forget to tip them!

There are many drinks and desserts to choose from...did I mention the pricing $...one dollar sign...very affordable!

Paul's is an excellent establishment. You should try this eatery to support the local merchants/economy whether you're a local or from out of town.

You WILL NOT be disappointed...Q!

It was my first time visiting this place and trying its menu. The whole place is spectacular! Paul’s Pizza & Hotdogs is highly recommended! Its interior is well-maintained, organized, and very clean. It also has a great atmosphere that can really make the customers relaxed and comfortable. They have plenty of seating, perfectly aligned, and enough for a few customers visiting their place daily. Their menu here is wide and they have huge selections. Lots of pizza flavors and sandwiches. I ordered their Italian beef and sausages. Very tasty, fresh, hot, well-cooked, and delicious. Really appreciate the quality. Plus, the portions are big and fair. They have the best pizza and sandwiches I have ever had. You can also try some of their pasta, breadsticks, and others. Everything is worth the price! Their customer service is super friendly and great! All of the staff is knowledgeable, professional, and very decent. They all know how to talk to their customers properly. All of them are working so fast and serving the food on time. You can also freely ask them if you need help. They are always willing to assist their customers. Wonderful service! It was a really great choice to try and dine at this place. They are definitely a gem in this area of Westchester. Will definitely visit again soon when I got some free time. Thank you for the awesome experience! I will also continue to recommend this spot to all the people I know, especially to my close friends and family. The best Pizza restaurant I have ever been to! Kudos to all...

This place is horrible! The workers are slobs and dogs! I came in with my friend and we were looking at the menu and 3 of the guys in the kitchen started making comments about both of us. They made comments about my breasts and my friends behind. The guy that took our order was short with us, uninterested in our order. I saw one of the workers wipe his nose bare hand then handle my food!!!! No gloves!!! Also my best friend worked there for years and she was being sexually harassed and when she went to ththe manager he did nothing! Then when she brought it up to the boss he just said he’d “change shifts” not taking care of the problem at all so she was forced to quit. The guys would be touchy with her, comments constantly, she got so uncomfortable she had to quit and those guys are still allowed to work there, not even a slap on the wrist! This place is disgusting through and through. DO NOT APPLY HERE OR COME HERE BECAUSE YOU WILL BE MISTREATED!!! I have never experienced such terrible and disgusting service from a place before. Paul or whoever really needs to get his business straightened out if he doesn’t want to keep losing customers. DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU’RE A FEMALE BECAUSE YOU WILL BE SEXUALIZED BY THE WORKERS! Never...
