I recently hosted my daughter’s baptism luncheon at Chickies Banquet, and it was a fantastic event. For starters, the banquet rooms are absolutely gorgeous. If you’ve been to Chickies Beef, you know the decor is nostalgic 50s (super cute), but the banquet rooms are very modern, bright, and stylish. We were in the bigger room and it has beautiful chandeliers and fans, clean and cute gray tablecloths, silver chiavari chairs (an upcharge at most venues but included in the room here), and sparkle tablecloths for the bar tables, sweets table, and gift table. The room is decorated so beautifully that you barely need to add anything else - we brought our own backdrop, flower arrangements for the tables, and custom sweets, and the room looked absolutely perfect. The food was delicious - good ol Italian comfort food and a huge crowd pleaser. We did buffet style with salad, beef, peppers, sausage, pizza, and rigatoni with vodka sauce. Everything stayed warm and delicious - I had so many guests compliment the food and I saw many people in line for seconds and thirds!
I knew from the minute I spoke to Brittany on the phone that the event would be a success. She is pleasant and competent, and answered any questions I had. She responds to messages right away and goes out of her way to make sure she is tailoring the event to your needs. My family absolutely loved her, and one of my guests even booked a party with Brittany for next year during my luncheon! Brittany is absolutely fantastic and she made the event a huge success. I also already booked my daughter’s first birthday party with Chickies Banquet for next year.
If you are looking for an event space with delicious food and a great atmosphere, then Chickies Banquet is the place for you. We can’t wait to go back for...
Read moreI usually don’t take the time to write these. Unfortunately, I could not let this go without the opportunity to give my honest feedback. This was my first time at Chickies since they opened at the new location. It will likely be my last. The woman working at the order counter was very rude and short with me. I definitely didn’t feel welcomed. I felt more like I was bothering her. I even tried to lighten the mood with a complement of the new location. Still, she was short with me. I let it go and settle with just enjoying good food. Unfortunately, when I got home I found that my order was wrong and there were no condiments in the bag. As for the food, the pizza was good which is probably why they got one star. However, the fries were way too greasy, soggy and stuck together. My kids refused to eat them. I had high hopes for Chickies especially because I live in the area, but I was totally let down. My family’s next take-out night will likely...
Read moreI forgot to take pics. Note to visitors: the order box is in the middle of the parking lot. It's difficult to know what to order if you've never been. I highly recommend going inside. Don't do like I did. I think the experience would have been different. It wasn't bad, I was unsure of how or what to order.
I got the original italian beef, with a jus on the side, cheddar, jalapeños, caramelized onions. It was good!! I wasn't expecting the bread to be soggy. I thought it was going to be a stronger baguette. Nonetheless, a great ratio of ingredients, tender beef, sweet onions, mild cheese, good sandwich. The fries are DELISH!! They were salted to perfect, a great balance of snap and chew, so freaking good.
The service is very quick. They guys were nice. I enjoyed having the infamous Italian Beef from chickies. Imma try the sausage next time. I can't believe I...
