Westchester Donald's Famous Hotdogs — Restaurant in Proviso Township

It has been more years that I can count since the last time I got to have Donald's Famous Hot Dogs. There was one not too far from where I grew up that I got to stop at on occasions and I've been to them in other parts of the city and surrounding area. I know I've driven past this one but I don't think I've ever stopped at it before. But since I am in the area and it was lunch time I wasn't going to pass up the opportunity. I was going to have to eat while driving and it was pouring rain outside so I took a chance in their drive-thru and ordered something simple. I just ordered their two hot dogs with fries combo and got the dogs plain. Ordering was easy and the employees were friendly.

The french fries were everything I remembered being a straight cut fry with just the right amount of salt and coming in a paper sack. It has been a long time since I last had plain hot dogs and these were everything I remember about eating them. They tasted like memories and I wish I had more. This was the perfect meal to get me through the day and then price was spot on.
