This place is really good. We got the gangjung 16 pcs with angry red and creamy onion, and both were very delicious. The angry red is pretty spicy (not as spicy as fire noodles) so be aware of that - still really good though. The creamy onion is not too greasy or cheesy, it has the perfect combination of the onion flavor with other flavor. Will definitely visit again to try other menu. Also, the chicken comes with the pickled raddish. I don't know if they make them, but I think it tastes a little salty compared to the raddish at other chicken places - they give you one in a small plastic cup. I think they sprinkle almond on top for gangjungs, so if you are alergic to almonds, let the frontdesk know about it. The gangjungs come with a long toothpick to eat the gangungs. The menu is written on a really big chalkboard which takes up a whole side of the wall, and I think that's helpful since everyone can read it from anywhere they sit. I also think the interior is awesome. It looks better than the previous store. The owner is very nice too and the staff is also very friendly. They have K-Pop music in the background and there are frames of chicken all over the place - I find...
Read moreWe kind of stumbled into this restaurant by accident; the location was formerly a different restaurant that we had been to before. Because it was Korean fried chicken we decided to go ahead and give it a try, and I'm very glad we did.
The menu had a lot of my favorites from when I lived in Korea, so we went kind of overboard ordering lots of things. We tried the boneless chicken, dalkgalbi, kimbap, and two types of hoddeok. The meal came with some pink radish kimchi and regular kimchi.
Everything was fantastic. The chicken was crispy and delicious. We had two sauces and though they were both great, I liked the "angry red" best. Both varieties of kimchi were delicious. I hadn't had hoddeok since I was in Korea and it really hit the spot. The dalkgalbi was served somewhat bibimbap style with rice and a fried egg. I really loved it, I would probably come back just for this.
The owner was very nice and we had a nice conversation. Definitely good vibes.
I definitely recommend this place for anyone who loves Korean food (especially Korean...
Read moreHonestly really great, I came here because I saw a review that said it was better than bok bok🙇♀️ and it actually delivered on that. The fries are pretty average but the chicken was GOOD. The quality of the meat is incredible and actually very tender with a very crispy exterior. Like this isn't any Restuarant where it's mostly breading, it's HUGE pieces of chicken thigh and it's delicious :D I tried the golden soy sauce and both red sauces, I prefer the red sauces because they have a Gochugang base and stick to the breading really well. The golden soy was good but really thin so the chicken didn't adhere to it as well. So definitely get a red sauce, dipping the fries in it also wayy good. And if it's too spicy, ask for a side of the creamy onion and it acts like a ranch but better. Overall very tasty and definitely the best Korean fried chicken in utah county (which is impressive considering how many places that have popped up in the...
