I was given the opportunities to sample twiceâone via a credit card deal and the other from a Jimmy John's (JJ) reward. Both to-go. I went inside an empty restaurant around Saturday noon during the first time, then used their drive-through the second. My sandwiches were the "#10 Hunter's Club" on wheat and "#11 Country Club" on a baguette.
I don't see what the purpose of this sandwich chain is. They serve cold cuts, and other common ingredients, on two available-anywhere types of breads. There isn't anything special or unique and any decent supermarket deli will be able to whip up something comparable but with much better value (for example, Publix Deli, which is featured throughout their Southeastern U.S. stores and where JJ also has locations, will give JJ a humiliating sandwich beatdown).
This location has nice corporate interior design and clean looks, which mask the true deficiency (the food). It's just another pointless "eat the decor" establishment. No wonder they dish out generous discounts and promotions, in order to sell...
Read moreAll i did was call to place a Delivery order after all the hype that was built up on this restaurant.
I live near the local Fair grounds which is only 10 minutes away from the JImmy Johns' location here in Pueblo Colorado
However for reasons, we're apparently outside of their delivery range, so I don't care if their sandwiches are the best in the world, if they don't expand their range, or just change their policy to deliver within the local pueblo area regardless of range, Zip Code or whatever they guage it by. Jimmy Johns isn't going to survive as a restaurant
I worked as a chef before, so I know the statistics of a new one opening, even if it's part of a chain franchise, reputation alone isn't enough, a franchise will protect their reputation before they care about the customer, and unless the New Jimmy Johns' location in Pueblo on Northern Avenue Widen their delivery range
That location's going to fail just by lack of delivery options...
Read moreI will never return!! This location ruined jinny johns for me and my family. They are ignorant, rude, and sooooooooo slow. We ordered our food no problem there, then waited about 20 min. for our order, when we looked at our food something looked off. We ordered a sud with extra meet and cheese and a number 7 from the club sandwitches. The club was made as a sud and didnt even have all the meat and cheese that comes in a club. We were told thats how THEY wanted to do it. We then notice there is only lettice and 4 pieces of meat on the sub that was actully orderd. I ask where the rest of my sandwitch was and they gave me the rest of my sub in another sandwitch wrapper and I was told to put it together myself. Then when i asked about the fact I should have double meat as i paid for it and was told "no thanks" as she,the cashier, smiled and walked away. Never going back had to pay $20 to put my own sandwitch together!! Didnt get what...
