I used to like this place but now I hate it! A couple of weeks ago I ordered a pizza went home cooked it and put it on the table. My husband and I took two bites and realized it did not taste good, not the same as before. I call this place to let them know the lady said to come in with the pizza, so I drive back and when they saw the pizza had almost a whole slice gone they said since we ate some pizza they couldn't give me another. How were we to know it didn't taste right if we didn't try it. When I told them this they looked at the pizza and said it was my fault because heating it up made the pizza dough bubble and that's why I couldn't get another. How were we supposed to know it would bubble or even why that mattered. I told them it didn't taste right I didn't care if it bubbled. They went in and with determination not to make another pizza for me, treating me like I was trying to get a free pizza, like a thief. I didn't drive home , cook the pizza for dinner, drive all the way back to do it all over again so I could replace the almost one slice of pizza that was gone, did I? They continued with trying to bully me until they realized I wasn't listening to the bull, they finally made another only after I fought back hard. Really, I did this to get one over on them for an almost slice of pizza??? I felt like I was in the twilight zone. They were so disrespectful so angry and treating me so bad. I will never step into this business again and I will share thier ignorance with all who will listen. The manager should be ashamed of herself and the staff she had trained to handle...
Read moreMy family have been going to Papa Murphy's pizza for many years since before 2000. We had always had average to above average service. Until just a few weeks ago on February the 11th. I went in to pick up a previously called in order. I paid for the pizzas and the young lady behind the counter was polite and said my order had yet to be made but it would be completed shortly. So I stood against the wall and waited and waited, and waited some more. I watched as customers walked in placed an order and walked out with the order. I watched customers with previously ordered pizzas wàlk in and pick up their pizzas and leave. From the time we called the oder in to the time I received the order it was well over an hour. I watched as the assistant manager waited on a friend who was in and out in under 10 minutes. I also continually heard the employees tell each other that it was priority to complete the orders that had walked in before making pizzas that had called in. After the place had emptied I asked if my.order was close to being ready. I obviously felt that I had been forgotten about. The girl that waited on me in the begining said she was making the first pizza right then. They new I was there the entire time. I was frustrated, very frustrated. The manager apologized for being late and that was the end of that. I got my.pizzas and went home. We have yet to be back and I'm not sure when we will go back. It's to bad this situation occured. We were...
Read moreGreat take 'n' bake pizza; family-sized pizzas are 18" - just like the NYC or Boston old days. I'd already tried Papa Murphy's in Minneapolis years ago at a family reunion. They have gluten-free dough, too. We tried it on a thin-crust sausage, green pepper and mushroom pizza. While the pizza was enjoyable, you can ask anyone about gluten-free anything - it doesn't taste quite the same, but it's better for you. The crust portion actually broke up into sharp shards, so be careful when you eat it. The other pie was standard-crust with regular dough, a Chicken Meditteranean. Garlic oil & with mozzarella & feta cheeses, spinach with chunks of chicken and dried & roasted red bell peppers. Excellent! The pizzas lasted for the whole weekend with just the two of us! Their Mediterranean salads were great - spinach and green leaf lettuce with black olives. scallions, green peppers, veggies (sliced small), roasted dried red bell peppers & feta cheese - a cross between Italian Antipasto & a Greek salad. We paid $1 extra to get 1 extra salad dressing packet each. They're big salads. We also got dark chocolate chocolate chip cookies. Everything was easy to cook in the oven. They even had printed instructions should you be a doofus in the kitchen. A little pricy at $42, but we'll go back. You get what you pay for. ...
