Had a coupon today for Father’s Day the buy one get one. So I went in with my significant other and used his app. As we were leaving I thought maybe we should get something for your Father and Mother who are home bound and cannot get out. I believe that would truly enjoy this and it would be such a surprise for them. So I downloaded the app and we went through the drive thru.
We were rudely told that I had already used the coupon which was not true. They scanned it again and said that it was already used and again I said that is impossible I just registered on this website. I was then told that I had to wait 48 hours to use any coupons and by then this one would no longer be valid. Really?
I ended up driving to a different Starbucks across town explained what happened and they scanned the coupon and told me that it was totally valid and completely good! What a scam!!!

Read moreUpdating my review from 5 years ago, which was a 5 star review because this location used to be amazing. Now, all they do is complain about their customers. I just got a lecture when I pulled up to the speaker box at the exact time the order was supposed to be ready per the app. Whoever was on the speaker said, “Okay it looks like I just got that a few minutes ago and it usually does take 5-10 minutes to make those but I’ll try to have them done when you get up here.” It was an iced tea and a cold brew and it had already been 5 minutes. There were several cars in front of me. When I tried speaking with the supervisor on duty, she was very rude as well so I gave up and called Starbucks customer service. We have also gotten complaints when picking up multiple drinks. We are never rude or impatient in any way and there is no reason for this behavior. Today I went and placed drive thru mobile order but went inside instead to pick up a birthday gift and one of the employees really stood out. He was so friendly and had great customer service. I wish I gotten his name but he will knows exactly who he is. He really set my day to a positive note and I think positive customer service experience in the mornings is so so important as it really does set everyone’s day. So I just want to say a huge thank you to him and to all the others too they welcomed me in.
