The Famous Trailer Ribs — Restaurant in Puerto Rico

Go eat here. This place is absolutely fantastic. The service was excellent. It’s a trailer with a seating area out back. There are a few parking spots in front. If you are traveling west on route 3 you’ll have to do a u turn to access the parking lot.

I got the ribs, mofongo, and churrasco jibarito sandwich. They were all delicious. The rib plate was a great value. 2 large and meaty ribs with 4 or 5 smaller rib chunks. They were covered in a barbecue sauce. The ribs were so tender and so meaty. They had so much flavor they didn’t even need the sauce. The mofongo was so flavorful and delicious also. This was the best mofongo I’ve ever had by far. The sandwich was phenomenal as well. The steak was so tender and flavorful, and the sandwich was loaded up with meat and other fillings. It’s between DJ auto and German Tire. Let me say everything I tried was delicious. The mofongo had the right texture and firmness it also had bacon in it. The ribs were out of this planet, tons of fall of the bone meat and juicy. Portions are big, I am eat a lot and was very full after the ribs with mofongo and salad. My kids had the chicken quesadilla full of chicken and cheese with fries. My wife had the “mar y tierra” sauté shrimp and grilled skirt meat with chimichurri sauce and fresh fried tostones. Service was excellent, my daughter at first was asleep in the car and they opened the gated area behind the truck so I could move my car within line of sight. It is really delicious! We got the ribs with fries, shrimp in garlic sauce, cheese quesadillas, and mofongo.

The ribs were spare ribs…the meat was perfectly cooked. Falling off the bone but not mush. Delicious bbq sauce and seasoning. A kick but not too spicy. Really really good.

The shrimp was yummy. In a nice buttery garlic sauce.

The quesadillas had a ton of cheese and the chips were really good.

Fries were super good. They give you what we call fry sauce…it’s mayo ketchup. It’s delicious and the best with the fries.

I’m not a huge mofongo fan but it was good mofongo. Not dry. Good flavor.
