Do not believe the hours on their website or on Google. We drove 20 mins to get there because there was no indication of them closing at 9. When we arrived at 8:40 we were told to sit anywhere. After being told to sit anywhere, we were told the kitchen closes at 9 and we should order quickly. We ordered by 8:50. Our food promptly arrived and as we were eating, they started to stack chairs on tables in our section and started to clean. We checked Google and the website and were perplexed since it was at least 40 mins from close on the website and even more based on the Google timetable. Then the music stopped. By 9:20, they were turning off tvs and turning on the bright closing lights, as if it were closing time at the bar. We witnessed waitstaff moving tables right next to other patrons to clean. When someone tried to come in, they were yelled at that they were closed. We questioned that, since no where had we seen they closed at 9. Apparently it's posted on the door, though nothing was mentioned when we were told to sit wherever or when told the kitchen was closing (not the whole establishment) . We asked to see a manager and were told he left hours ago. They said they had tried to change their Google hours but were unsuccessful. I know there is a way to create seasonal hours for this time of year. Also, why would you not change your website? Finally if you are not going to give the same service to someone coming in right before closing, why don't you just close even earlier to allow them time to enjoy their entire meal, atmosphere, and attention of the staff. We left half our food, full beers and with a bad taste in our mouth. Would be a 1 star if the food hadn't been decent, at least what we got to eat of it. Also I would not go to this location alone at night. Exterior lighting...
Read moreWe were at your facility Saturday evening. It was our first time out as a family in a long time. My husband, 2 children and myself came to have a family dinner. At no point, until we were ready to order food, were we informed that specials were ineligible due to 50% capacity restrictions. I wanted the $13.99 steak dinner. Waitress very kindly told me that the specials werent eligible for the reason i listed earlier. So, i got the surf and turf instead. I asked for soup (loaded potato soup) which you were out of. I then asked for a baked potato as one of my sides. I was told you were out of that as well. Your very sweet and kind waitress came back apologized again. And tjats when i was told that baked potatoes (even though it's listed as a choice under your side selection in the back of the menu) were NEVER sold at this location because of the owner's choosing. My daughter got the adult bacon burger with curly fries. The burger was requested to be cooked medium well. It was well done, and very hard to bite into. Waitress brought me a salad as i requested since the soup was 86'd. And our mozzarella sticks we ordered as an appetizer we comped. They were cooked to perfection. I just wanted to let you know how it made us feel and how the food was. My sirloin was excellent. But, if there are no specials due to capacity requirements, or if a side that is listed as an option is not eligible, a sign should be posted on the door, or the hostess/waitress that seats us should let us know this before or at time of drink orders. The facility was nice and clean. But, my family and i were not happy overall with the...
Read moreMe and my husband have been to this location several times. We always go on Wednesday because it's half off of the wings. We've had them inside the restaurant and Togo once. There Togo experience is lacking big time. The one time we ordered them Togo we ordered 60 wings in garlic parmesan and asked for them to be extra extra wet and saucy. I went and picked them up and they were dry as a bone you couldn't even tell it was garlic parmesan. We were very disappointed with them. Well today we decided to give it another go. First off I called up there and I don't know if something is up with they're phone systems because it took calling five times to get someone on the phone. When they did finally answer I was greeted with " hi Punta gorda" so I proceeded to ask if the wings were still half off on Wednesday she said yes. I began to place my order. Which normally I order twenty garlic and then 15 mild and five of a different flavor to try a new flavor. The girl told me I couldn't do five I had to do 6. I told her I order it like this every time. She told me there was nothing she could do. That I had to order the different flavors in increments of 6. Well it's cheaper to buy 20. It defeats the whole purpose of buying the wings when it's half off. It's more expensive to buy them in increments of 6. So needless to say I won't be back. I don't know what the problem is but they need to...
