Four stars just because the environment is very nice and the coffee is delicious. However the food is really disappointing and I don’t recommend. We ordered a chicken wrap and the over easy egg/croissant with bacon. They heated both up for us but my croissant was still cold and hard and the egg on top didn’t look right to eat. I only took a few bites. My boyfriends wrap was way over heated to the point the lettuce turned soggy and the flavor was lost. We ordered a small caramel cheesecake as well and the texture was very liquid like instead of dense and cheese like. Their carrot cake is very delicious however. I would usually return food that was as bad as what we were served, but knowing we would be back for coffee and to enjoy the environment we just chose to let it go. We will be back often but will avoid the food until something changes. I’ve seen other reviews mentioning the same thing, so hopefully the quality changes sometime! Edit: The last time we visited our coffee was very burnt tasting. I’m sure it was due to volume as this place gets very busy. Hopefully as time goes they will find better ways to filter volume and ensure quality products are served. In the mean time we found another coffee house we’ll be frequenting on...
Read moreFirst off. Love what farm12 stands for and supports. But I’ll be leaving an Honest review. Employee were all nice and welcoming. The space was beautiful and enough room for everyone to sit. Coffee was good! Wish they had matcha lattes though. Food was unimpressive. I came here with 4 of my girlfriends and kids. We ordered the wraps, PBJ sandwiches and a few pastries. Everything was stale and tasted a few days old. I was under the impression that they make everything fresh daily and take away the older items or at least discount them. Because they are pricey. Even the warmed up croissant was stale.. and the pbj sandwich was hard. And the wraps were stale on the outside but soggy inside.
Also, would love for them to sever fresh hot sandwiches. Or even avocado toast. Something besides the grab n go and pastries. It has a lot of Potential. Just needs to be executed. Especially for the big space. I feel like it would be busy all the time if they included that in and take away the old food / pastries and replace it daily with new. Especially for the price tag. My humble opinion. Will be back if fresh hot savory food gets added to menu:) For now I’ll be going to farm12 for...
Read moreFika by Farm 12 is my new "go-to" place in Puyallup for great coffee and atmosphere! The drinks and fresh-baked items are excellent, and the staff is very friendly. I love the ample seating and natural lighting provided by the glass-walled, garage type doors. Looking forward to the summer months when they can open them up to the outside!
Fika's loyalty/rewards system is a bit confusing for the staff if you are paying by cash; be ready to show your QR code from the unique web URL you received when you first signed up. Otherwise, paying via card is quicker as the rewards program is automatically linked to your payment card.
Fika's interior space can be a bit noisy from the sound reflections off the glass walls all-around, but this in no way diminishes the unique and pleasant experience that is Fika!
Parking at Fika, as with the entire Farm 12 facility, is easy to access and plentiful.
Fika is a wonderful addition to Puyallup and your dollars spent are helping to support a very worthy cause. Congrats to the Farm 12 staff for their vision in bringing Fika to life on their property. I'll be...
