MOD Pizza — Restaurant in Puyallup

Last time I came to one of these I got the salad. I wasn't impressed. It felt like I had just bought a salad from the Subway sandwich line. This time I got the pizza.i didnt like it much better. I'm sorry. So many people say the food is great, but I just dont like it. If I am going to eat pizza that didnt come from a box, then I want the crust to taste like it didnt come from a box. Yuck! Sorry, but I'm willing to wait 30 minutes to get a pizza worthy of being called a pizza. The restaurant itself was nice and clean, the staff very helpful, and the outside seating area was very nice. Oh, and the whole "mill around the checkout area hoping your food shows up soon" was just the pits. Nobody explains their goofy nonexistant delivery system to newer patrons. I went to sit out on the patio with the rest of my group, not knowing that I was suppose to mill about like a cow waiting for my chow to be put on the line. It doesnt even say "pick up area" or anything else to clue you in on how things (don't) work here......Who came up with this concept???!! Next time someone suggests Mod Pizza, I'm just going to...

Party of seven. We look forward to eating at Mod Pizza. However, it was not a great experience at this particular one. The girl helping behind the counter was not really friendly. When I asked for more olives, she did her best not to roll her eyes. But the attitude was there. Are not pleasant like the guys were. Made me sad. The other thing is that Mod tends to burn their pizza crust somewhat. My friend asked for it to be cooked lightly, not burned. But if it was burned and he couldn't eat it. It was that bad. So they did make another one that he had to take home, because the rest of us were done by the time he got it. They did not offer to refund his money. Plus, one more thing... no beer served at this location. Pizza without beer! Anyway. The rest seemed happy. But I am the one doing the review. We travel all over the USA and always look for MOD. We still will. But this is my honest review...

Placed a curbside pickup order at 5:20pm for a 7:30pm pickup. Arrived at 7:30 and called to let them know we were here and they told us it would be a few minutes as they were still working on it, but they’d be right out with it. Minutes kept ticking by and next thing you know we’ve been sitting in the parking lot for nearly 30mins waiting for our food, so I go inside to see what’s going on to find our pizzas just sitting on the counter getting cold while other guests got their food. My wife and I had a very long and stressful work day with many errands to run afterwards, so we figured placing an order well in advance would be easiest for everyone, but I was clearly wrong and our night got more stressful!
