3:42 am on 12/18/2021. The manager on duty at this location and date / time. I placed a late night order with Door Dash from this location. An order that was close to $80.00. The order was delivered rather quickly but with several things missing. We ordered a dbl. Quarter pounder meal, a reg. Qtr. Pounder meal, 2 cheeseburger meal and 3 of the 20 piece chicken nuggets (not meal). Yes there were a lot of us eating! Never received the drinks for the 2 quarter pounder meals, didn't receive the 2 cheeseburgers, and no dipping sauce for the nuggets! But they did get a strand of someone's hair in one of the fries! This is not the first time this location has given us missing items in our order. I just recently threw out receipts of saved employee names that gave us comp. Meals for missing items. The best was ordering burgers and only getting the buns with no burger patty?? How do you do that? This is the only McDonald's that I have been to that the drive thru takes 1 hour to get through before you get your order. Back to this manager from this evening, I called to complain to them about not getting our cheeseburgers or our drinks and ask him what was going on and I told him this has happened several times in fact once they didn't even give us our burger patties inside our hamburgers. He hung up on me! I called back again and ask him why he hung up on me and he said that he didn't need my attitude. It didn't have an attitude I simply asked him what the problem was why is it that there's constantly items missing out of orders placed at their location. He hung up on me again. I called back three more times we're all he did was hold the phone instead of responding and hung up on me. So it's pretty frustrating when you're paying for service to happen which I talk to doordash as well a service that is not cheap by far and in my household we use quite often. But then to deal with a manager you can't simply answer the questions of why your items are missing from your order at 3:30 in the morning. I don't think that they had such a busy evening or crowd at 3:30 a.m. that they couldn't get our order correct. When I say earlier in my review that it takes an hour to get your order, I am referring to normal daytime hours. I do plan to take this complaint further to McDonald's corporate and franchise. It's one thing already for them to give you missing items at 3:30 in the morning but then to be hung up on four and five times by a manager is incorrect. If anyone had attitude it was him and he...
Read moreThis location has been horrible for mornings for a long time. The morning lady normally in charge is rude and inconsiderate. I've had many instances that have left me angry or appalled. I've overheard the manager complaining about a customer in a condescending and insulting way. I've seen her snap at her employees. I've never had a good interaction with her and normally don't with that early crew. I've also been skipped by my order taker multiple times they help the car that pulled up in the other lane after me... I had decided to stop coming here altogether after one morning they were supposed to be open and I pulled in and after about 30 seconds another car pulled in the other lane. About 30 seconds later someone started trying to take her order! Whoever it was kept saying I can't hear you and the customer kept trying to talk louder. This kept on for a good minute before the customer drove off, looking at me shrugging her shoulders. I sat there for another minute or so and no one ever talked to me. I pulled up to the window and sat there staring inside. The entire crew was running around like chickens with their heads cut off. The manager noticed me multiple times and never made contact. Finally out of what seemed to be frustration of me still being there she made eye contact from several feet away without opening the window waving her hands yelling 'We're closed' I decided I was done with this location...
That was over a month ago. They expanded their hours and I've found myself over there in the 4am hour. The guy taking orders seemed nice enough but at the window, if you try to make any kind of joke or small talk you'll get cold shouldered. Maybe he's preparing you because the next windows even worse. This girl has zero expression, and doesn't say a word.
I only order two items so I'm just going to start being sarcastically overly nice from now on and let them be mutes all they want.
McDonald's in Sumner is by far the best service McDonald's possibly that you'll ever find. They've had a culture and atmosphere that's positive for years. No one wants to start their day interacting with rude people. Also McDonald's area hq is in sumner, leaving that store to the highest expectations.
Burger King on river road morning crew is amazing as well! The morning manager there is the best and her employees are trained to be the same. I can't get the lady handing out my food at McDonald's to say a word but if I walk in burger King I'm greeted by employees even if...
Read moreI always try to avoid reviewing places because of the reality that I will be getting what I paid for & I understand there’s going to be times where I might be dissatisfied; and I have no choice but to be ok with it.
This location is not too far from my house. Weekend mornings are always easier when I can just come here and grab a breakfast sandwich and coffee.
For over a year now, the morning weekend crew is 90% a female crew. Not to be sexist, but nothing is ever right when I come through on the weekends. There are times when the crew is blatantly fighting and yelling back to each other. There are times when they carelessly hand out the wrong orders. And the manager in the mornings, has the WORST ATTITUDE. It’s kind of funny because my husband and I have always made it a point to be nice to this location since we come here frequently throughout the week.
The weekdays are the smoothest transactions. Chill crew. Nice staff. But god forbid we come here on a weekend morning. The power female crew and their queen bee who can’t even make an iced coffee properly.
Like I said, I try to avoid writing negative reviews for fast food places, but the weekend crew and manager just needs a little baggie shoutout. -The manager has been there for years. I’ve seen her work up to a manager. Good for her. She probably deserves it for putting in the time. But being manager took the joy out of her.
I remember what she used to look like years ago. And now the joy is taken from her soul, and whatever negativity being a manager gave to her spreads to her team.
You know, even tho the iced coffee is cheap here, the dollars add up. And I come to McDonald’s frequently enough to confidently state that it’s always a waste of money on...
