Pioneer Park Pavilion — Attraction in Puyallup

This is one of the best offerings Puyallup has, their Saturday market is amazing many vendors and draws quite a crowd. They have arts and crafts as well as food, flowers and great Craftsman quality. You can buy jewelry, furniture, soaps, flowers cut and plants, metal art, Bradys oysters, vegetables, artwork and pretty much everything else you would find at a high quality Saturday market . parking is the biggest challenge plan on wearing good shoes and lots of walking. Bring a bag or something to carry your goods in as well. They have a beautiful play space for kids and I believe there's a water feature in the summer . There are also many restaurants , coffee and yogurt shops close by if you choose not to use one of the food carts. If you choose the food carts I would suggest trying the breakfast burrito which in the past has has been big enough for two or the fry bread hamburger which I had not seen as an offering at other Saturday markets. 4 star for bad location and sketchy people. During farmers markets, this place is packed inside and out with vendors of all kinds, but all kinds of awesome. Has a playground and grass fields. Has a public water fountain park for the kids and a lot of local artwork decorating the park and surrounding area. The library is on site and city hall is across the street. Note to Parents: Beware of strange people paying extra attention to your kids, there have been a few attempted kidnappings and strange couples (with no kids) apperantly looking for kids in the last year. Coming out of the pandemic there were a lot of people booking this place during the same time as us. We did manage to get the day of the week and time we wanted though. We met with Ellen and she did a great job to make sure the space would accommodate our memorial event as we had envisioned. Upon securing the space, we were given a list caterers, a set of our responsibilities, and a timeline in which to get each piece of the event finished.
