My name is ALEXIA I normally eat here every other week and I had ordered a large pepperoni with extra cheese and I live 40 minutes away from the restaurant. I am pregnant and asked for the pizza to be extra crispy and when I opened it the pizza was soaked in grease and the cheese was super tough. I have never had this problem before and always order extra cheese. I called the store and they said the store manager is not in and to wait till Wednesday and so that’s what I did. The manager MELISSA said Thursday that I can get my pizza remade and normally that we have to bring the pizza back the same day because of policy that she will do it this one time and she will be in all night WELL when I called to reschedule the pizza for the next day an employee said she wasn’t in (I even explained what she said and what happened) and I was also not able to come in the same day she said to come in because she wasn’t not there. I called back the next day and she said I was able to still come in and to call 30 minutes before I arrive. When I was 20 minutes away I called and the same guy employee answered and said “he got word from Melissa” that the $40 large pizza I paid for is now going to be a small. This is absolutely not what she told me and my fiancé on the phone. When we arrived she told us that the small is what the owners approved of. she is the on sight manager that we were told to wait three days for (we were never able to get our pizza fixed Sunday night being that it was Sunday night and we live 40 minutes away) (we also were told by an older gentleman that we had to wait till Wednesday to talk to her). They would not refund my money and they would not remake my LARGE pepperoni pizza I PAID $40 for. She stood there at the front desk interrupting my fiancé and lying to me and him about what she told us on the phone. I have never experienced such bad service and help from a MANAGER from a great restaurant. I now think that this place is not the best based on the manipulation that was done here. My money wasted. My time wasted. My gas wasted and my trust in people’s words. We waited for the small pizza and they still ended up not taking care of it and burning the edges. You guys will be hearing about your shitty services...
Read moreI was hoping that the food lived up to all of the great reviews however, it didn't.
Raves about the cheesy bread.. I'm confused. It was cheese melted on "bread". The cheese had very little flavor and the bread was just their pizza crust. No seasoning, just crust. I did appreciate that it was a bit chewy but if you want your bread to be bread, don't order it, because it isn't.
The meatballs were average. The meat was firm but borderline pasty and the sauce was ok. Frozen meatballs are just not my thing.
I liked the flavors of the pizzas I ordered. The twisted Hawaiian was really good. I'm not a fan of jalapenos, but the heat worked perfectly with the ham and pineapple. I think there was supposed to be bacon, but I didn't notice any. Having the prosciutto on the flying pig was an excellent addition.
Unfortunately. The bottom of the crust was soft and the sauce caused the soft dough to be almost soggy. When I lift a slice I don't expect the toppings to slide off in a slab on the Hawaiian or crumble off of the pig. There was very little cheese on the flying pig and the cheese on both pizzas was hard already.
Lastly, I ordered the lemoncello cake and again, it was bland. I know it isn't their fault because they bought it pre-sliced and frozen, but if you are going to offer something, do it with the best product you can. When I order something that has lemon in it, I am doing so because I want the bright flavor of the lemon in the entire thing, not a hint of lemon in an aftertaste.
Bottom line. I spent $81 and was thoroughly disappointed. Sadly, I won't be going back. $81 is too much to spend on...
Read moreMy husband and myself decided to try Wicked Pie this evening. We called in our pizza and then walked to the restaurant. Immediately upon entering the restaurant we were told we could seat ourselves. We found a two person table and I proceeded to sit down. There was a larger gentleman sitting in the table next to ours so my husband arranged his stool so not to bump the other gentlemen. There was a younger waitress who looked at us and just walked past us. Finally a young man brought us water and took our order. I ordered an appetizer, coke, and informed him that we had called in an order. When he went back to place our appetizer order the young girl came by and told my husband very rudely to move his seat and sit appropriately “. The very nice waitress behind the bar walked by and I told her what happened. She apologized and stated she would talk to her. By this time my husband had stood up moved the stool. The young man brought my Coke and also apologized. In fact, he apologized a few times. My husband remained standing for about 15 mins until our food was done. The young woman not once apologized. In fact, she was very nice to everyone around us and rolled her eyes at both my husband and myself. I have never in my life been treated so bad. Both my husband and myself are African American: my husband is a teacher at one of the local high schools in Puyallup and I am appalled that this happened tonight. The pizza was good the two other individuals were very nice at Wicked Pie but we will never walk into that establishment and allow ourselves to be treated by someone who clearly has an issue with...
