What a WOW experience at Dominic's Italian Pizza & Restaurant tucked in the Town Circle of Quakertown 5 Stars Each, to Food, Service & Atmosphere Food: Had the hand cut Calamari for an appetizer, some nice warm Italian bread with requested hard butter and a low calorie (only 5 grams of sugar Popsicle Soda - special- it had characters on can along with some cool adjectives on can- different but tasty. ) Then I had a Whole Special Sub for only $9⁹⁹. YUMM. Like an Italian Hero, but with added meat. Very Tasty. Similar to White House Subs in Atlantic City, New Jersey. All Good. Had to put half in requested take-out box. SERVICE: First I had Mary Ann as my server. She was funny and knowledgeable about the extensive menu. She delivered my food hot & quickly. Then Sherry took over as the midday shift was changing. Sherry was a Polished Professional Waitress who Suggested I order the SPECIAL ITALIAN SUB over the typical Itialian Sub. What I liked was that she checked back with me to make sure everything was made to my specification, ( I asked for the sub roll be scooped out, side mayo and some sweet peppers added. All completed and Much Appreciated. EVEN VINCE THE OWNER, MASTER PIZZA MAKER came over, sat down and talked with me. Thank you Vince. We talked Restaurant shop talk since I had previously been a professional waiter and Red Lobster Restaurant Manager in years gone by. Vince has been there many years, knows his repeat customers and when he has the time, he sits and talks with them. Very nice gesture and practice. All the staff were pleasant and worked together. ATMOSPHERE: Pizza Slices showcased very neatly in Glass shelving. Very inviting to the eye as soon as you walk in Plus an array of Desserts to die for. Left side of Restaurant has a counter of about 12 seats, 6 booths and 2 TV's. One with Sports- Soccer, the other a news station. In cases on the left HOMEMADE PASTA SALAD, made by Vince and his Great chef. Plus an array of drinks to beat this heat wave going on. That's part of the reason I walked in; to coolvoff and have a cold drink.
On the right side were a number of tables and booths plus a back area with more tables I presume for parties, receptions and so on. Big Specials of the day board neatly written and attractive. Silverware rolled, wiped and clean. Thank you for that.
Restrooms Clean and Tidy for your patrons. Thank you for that. Overall a pleasant experience. As Arnold S would say, "I'll BE BACK" TAKE OUT AVAILABLE "SO don't walk ! Don't pass Go. Read moreI will start by saying I have been eating here for over a decade and have seen this restaurant flourish and suceed and do so well for itself it is a community its staple and me and my family order twice a week at least even though alcamos is literally a 5 minute walk from our house I richlandtown we love dominicks their plain pie is amazing and at $16 who can argue that and their prices for everything else on the menu are very reasonable. Tonight however we were very let down by the service e and quality of food I could deal with one or the other on any given Friday night....however tonight was by far probably my one of my worst experiences with a restaurant ever easily in my top three worst. I'm very patient and understanding this is actually my first review ever that is how upsetting it was from basically serving my wife rare burger qhen she asked for well done and I asked for medium well neither even close to be bloody... our waitress was to busy flirting with boys in the kitchen to keep track of us she had 3 tables and we were never asked how we were or how was the food when we tried to flag down other waitresses we were meet with cold shoulders and the audacity of having eye contact made given a one second finger gesture and to go back to talking to another waitress we couldn't even request a refill for our sodas which are not free bye wow really at least that's what we were told eventually 25 minutes after we were done we tried asking for our bill only to be meet with the same cold shoulder attitude and believe it or not another one second finger gesture I have been a waiter and a cook and a clinker person I know the deal this was blatent rude and just horrible behavior and the waitress had the nerve to play dumb and say I hope you weren't waiting I said well ylu would know we are your table aren't we I have never in my entire life not left a tip there is a first time for everything I couldn't justify eveneaving my 5 dollar minimum and to top it all off you might want to tell your Spanish speaking workers that there are people who speak spa ish who are not from Spanish speaking countries I speak Spanish and the things your dish staff say about the young girls working here is vile and disgusting the things the one said I dare not repeat it do better dominicks but do it without our business any longer been...
Read moreYesterday was my first time here. The place was moderately busy; my friend and I came around 6pm. My friend has been here before, she really enjoyed her previous slice of pizza that she ordered, which is why she recommended this place again. The pizza slice that I ordered tasted amazing, great flavor, cooked just right, however it was the customer service that I am rating this a 1/5. My friend really loves desserts, so first thing she goes for was a slice of cake, then we ordered pizza. My friend was on her phone, texting, so she was wrong, but our waitress was extremely rude about it! She misheard our order, and thought that we wanted 2 slices of plain pizza, while we wanted to order only 2 slices of pizza. My friend then said she wanted a buffalo chicken slice of pizza, drink, and the cake, which then the waitress got really upset, saying, "so you don't want 2 slices of plain?", and proceeded to rant OUT LOUD, that people should not be on their phones while ordering. After my friend paid for her order (we pay separately), I wanted to order my slice of pizza. She thought that I wanted a plain slice of pizza, before I even opened my mouth! I told her that I wanted tomato on my pizza, which she had to ask me 3 times, tomatoes on pizza?!?!?! "tomatoes on a plain pizza?" I was like um, yeah... So, basically saying, pizza was great, customer service was horrible, my friend was texting, but our waitress was NOT listening to us at all (I don't know where she heard the order for 2 slices of plain pizza), and she verbally criticized us for...
