Have been here many times and normally love it. Today was horrible. The bartender didn’t acknowledge for quite sometime, ishe acknowledged what I can only assume was a regular that arrived after we got there before us, who arrived after us. Asked for the spicy nuts, never got them. Never checked on us after nlwe got the beers. My husband tried to get her attention to ask for the spicy nuts I ordered, ignored us. We finished our beers and my husband had to walk outside to get her so we could close out, as she was sitting with other customers and on her phone. We’ve spoken to the owner on many occasions, a great guy. This however was our absolute worst experience. If this would’ve been our first visit, I doubt we’d come back.Others at the bar werel also sitting with empty glasses waiting to be checked out. The apology? “Sorry, lazy Sunday. Long 6 day work week. I...
Read moreThis is an excellent taproom. They have a great selection with a ton of rotating taps. There really is something for anyone. Not super fancy but it is very nice and super comfortable. It's a great spot to enjoy a beer with friends. The menu is relatively small but I think that's awesome. Good appetizers, pretty solid pizzas and that's about it. The jam here is the beer, they don't seem like they are trying to be known for some big impressive food menu. I tried the pizza with jalapeno poppers, pepperoni, pineapple, etc. It probably isn't something I would have thought of on my own but it absolutely hit the spot. A little kick, a lot of flavor. Good beers, nice people. What's not to love? Make sure this place is on your list. If I lived closer, I'd visit more often. You can tell that a bunch of people from the area are glad to be able to belly up to their...
Read moreThe beer was good, service and atmosphere, not so much. I visit a lot of breweries and taprooms, and this is the first time I didn't feel welcome. If you aren't a regular, then don't bother going. As I was getting ready to leave, one of the bartenders that finished their shift sat down to have a drink with the other patrons. As I looked over at them, they were pointing at me, then motioning towards the door to the working bartender and making a face that I should leave. They caught me looking and stopped right away. Then they tried to say they were talking about the TV. Nice try! I've never felt so unwelcome, and I will never go back. I will not recommend it to others either. I hope this review helps all the folks who aren't regulars at BruCo Taproom think twice about going. I try to support local, but will not when I'm not welcome in the...
