Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Queen Creek

Apparently Pizza Hut is outsourcing drivers to Door Dash and their phone calls to India. When you call and have a problem they hang up on you and or try to connect you to the store and nobody at the store ever answers. It might save them some change but they're losing customers. I ordered cheesy breadsticks for my son, paid online through the Pizza Hut app with my debit card. Hubby and I head out for dinner. Get a call from my son, Dasher says the order is cash and showed me his receipt that says so...I ordered from Pizza Hut not Door Dash so that's weird. I check my order and my bank, ummm no I paid for it already and my order shows credit card payment. Dasher says nothing he can do and takes the food away! So I paid and son gets no food. Call to ask for a re-delivery. Got hung up on twice, phone line has a harsh static every few seconds. 3rd attempt while trying to have dinner with my husband...I'm assured by an Indian woman my problem is being taken care of then get disconnected in the middle of our call. Call back 4th time and explain to a new Indian woman what happened, she assures me the problem is being taken care of so I ask several time if my order will be re-delivered. She finally said she'll need to transfer my call to the store...nobody answers and phone system hangs up. Just want my kids bread sticks that I paid for. Called at 11:30pm that night to see if anyone actually answers at the store, they did! I explained what happened, he said he'll give me a refund...The amount he told me was $22, I said no I paid $27.09, he said oh you tipped....yes I did! I'm not paying for a tip for a meal I didn't receive because Pizza Hut doesn't know how to use Door Dash! Got refunded $27 even. Keep my .09 cents to pay for the awful customer service. There's so many other choices for pizza.....we're done...

We ordered food from 3 places, ordering from here first, and it took the longest. Food didn’t come hot or fully cooked. I left driver instructions during check out but that information either wasn’t relayed to their delivery service or it was just ignored. I keep going back to the Hut after like a year, but they continue to disappoint.

Edit 4/8/2024 Someone contacted me from the Hut and credited my account. I appreciate them taking the time to do that. I will continue to give them a chance!

Edit 4/3/2025 I was really jonesing for one of those old school pan pizzas so I decided to give this location another try. I was not disappointed! Although the crust isn't as buttery and savory as I remember, it was still really good. The cook on it was perfect all around. I ordered breadsticks again, the cook on them was much better than last time- I didn't have to finish the cook on them! Although the breadsticks aren't as fluffy as I once remember. I was a bit hesitant of the delivery experience now that they're using doordash but my delivery instructions were relayed properly and it went well. Horrible service/ restaurant lies about order. Ordered from this location on 6/13/17 late in the afternoon. Got our order and received a cardboard stuffed crust pepperoni pizza that looked like it was made in the morning and left in the oven too long. Called the restaurant and informed them about the bad pizza. Restaurant employe apologizes for the experience and informs me she has put a full credit for the pizza under our phone number and name. She confirms the number and confirms we got a credit. Called Pizza Hut today to take advantage of my credit and they told me "I've never ordered from them, and there is no credit." Unless I have the original receipt not an online receipt, would it be proof to them we ordered from them. Since I only have an online conformation of my order and purchase they say I went to another Pizza Hut. My online order confirmation list their actual location. But they refuse to say it's them I ordered from because they don't want to follow through with giving me the credit.

Horrible customer experience. Worst service EVER!!!
