We shopped on March 04 at 2:45PM. We used the self-check out (Reg 40 / Tran: 8847). The POS flagged for assistance on one of the items. We got to complete our transaction but couldn't finish the payment until the POS assistance was resolved. For more than 5 minutes, no one assisted us DESPITE there were 3 female staff at the supervisor's area chatting. Eventually, the male Front Lead tending the online orders assisted us. I approached the 3 female staff who were still chatting and took their names. I went to the customer service and complained that we were not assisted by the 3 female staff "chatting only". I told them one was a Front Lead. The customer service called the Front Lead. When the female Front Lead came, I told the customer service in the presence of the Front Lead that they should be paying attention to the customers instead of chatting. The female Front Lead denied that she was chatting and said that they did not see there was an assistance needed. Naturally, how could they see if customers need assistance when they keeps on giggling and chatting. Instead of apologizing for missing to assist a customer, the female Front Lead arrogantly argued with the customer. In the first place, she should NOT prevent the staff from doing their jobs by chatting with them as a Front Lead. As a Front Lead, she should encourage the staff to be productive and NOT idle. Cielo (Customer Service Manager) had to pull the Front Lead away as she was aggressively answering back. The Front Lead's name is ELENA. Obviously, she is new in the store. This is our first experience to see a LAZY and UNPROFESSIONAL staff in BJ's. Either she should be trained properly or be put in the back of the warehouse where she cannot be around customers. She has very POOR customer service skills. This was raised to the BJ's Member Care associate Tessa. Tessa just sat on the issue and made ping-pong emails with no real action taken. Read moreBeyond disappointed with this store this is not the first time I had issue with the works from the deli...I believe they are so unhappy working there so they explode in the customer...this guy Ryan from the deli Lord Jesus he is the most rude,nasty, disrespectful one, thinking he is the big shot man, today a customer was buying but she didn't want more orders but was talking on the phone and cared less so I told him to call her so he can serve us that are there awaiting he got so bossy and had the audacity to tell hem:I will send you to the front and will not serve you! Dude we are at a store not a school, I am a 41 years old woman, I am a customer...who do you think you are? Spoke to the manager he called the "deli manager" so went to get me what I want than send it with someone else when the meat was all crumbled, rolled in a bag inside other bag...gave it back to the girl that literally tossed it in the trash can!!...how disappointed I am for them to treat their customers like that. Whithout the customer there is no job for them! And now they lost 1 and for sure I will cancel my membership and the credit card I have with them, screw this I bring you money and you care less for me? Read moreI’m making another review about this place. This place needs to be shut down. The manager doesn’t help and I took it to corporate so I hope they read these reviews. Because me and my son is not getting food need to eat this month I had to sell my TV just to feed him until I get my next check because they stole all of my food stamp. I don’t like living on the government, but I just moved up here to Ohio and I count on those stamps because what I get is not enough until able on my feet so I hope corporate into investigation on the shutdown Because like I said it was 7:53 AM on the 10th in the morning. I hope everybody understands that this is where they steal your stuff so beware if you saw your cards at the store too.
