More & more new Mary Lou's locations have been thankfully starting to pop up almost unexpectwdly without noticing at first in many cities across the So. Shore, Mass. This is long been begged for by customers like myself who have been fans since I was roughly in my pre-teen years. I, myself, mentioned to the girls making my coffee numerous times for many years that I had always wished there were more down toward Brockton/Bridgewater areas before they had finally started opening more locations in cities following Route 18 all the way fown and finally down on Belmont St. in Brockton. Despite having a complete disagreement of opinions re some of their hiring practices that I do agree with fully, I have and always will speak highly of Mary Lou's & all the hardworking girls busting the behinds everyday to get us all fresh, creative coffee concoctions that are beyond abs delicous, each & everyday. I have never once had my coffee made wrong and the list of specifics when I order my Mary Lou's favorite is about 3-4 more additional steps, (about 7 steps in total) than compared when dictating my coffee order @ any other establishment that you can order fresh, made-to-order coffee from, (usually about3 or 4 total steps of how I request my coffee to be made anywhere else, & I can recollect at least 20% of my coffees being made wrong and/or having to ask them to add some more of this or that). This location that I just now realized was there for the first time yesterday when heading out for coffee with my Mom, is no different. Mary Lou's always manages to keep the same quality standards across the board and same aspects of any kind that you may particularly like to keep you coming back to them, at seemingly every single location, (& I'm now caught up to having visited all locations that have ever been opened in existence since their humble beginning). My only gripe with this particular location is the sad tag-along downside that they share a building space openingly, being located inside a "mom-&-pop" convenience store that quite obviously must've had better days in the past. Not that their side of the establishment is terrible or anything, but seems to have become one of those dusty lil convenience stores in which you could never quite be confident when and if ever dared to buy anything that isn't cigarettes, lotto, soda, water, or bagged snacks as it more likely than not had probably been sitting on their shelves for as many moments in time it took to build up that now impenetrable layer of brownish-grayish dirt tint that can now never be removed from the white tile. Lol HOPEFULLY, the usually booming (and certainly was booming yesterday during my visit) amount of biz that Mary Lou's bow has marching through their building for the first time will certainly help give the owners the boost they absolutely need... ...and being that the convenience store owners did really just seem like decent, hardworking people just trying to take advantage of our free country's enterprise opportunities just as many do, as best as they possibly can, it truly can be so much harder to actually accomplish than way too many people seem to first believe.... So if my assumed assessment is actuality they hopefully will deservingly start getting to head their property & biz in that direction, as they originally anticipated doing for their biz when first dreaming about. When that happens this Mary Lou's could become a mint location! (Need more seating,...
Read morethis was my first and LAST experience at marylou’s i’ve always been so excited to try it. i walked in and the pink vibes were so sweet and cute until i was “greeted” by the staff. I tried to order the food and drinks and two of them kept trying to talk to me at once but then one of them started to get upset with me?? Like i’m one person how can i talk to two people at once? then when i was ordering i ordered hash browns and the lady sighed. Both pin pads weren’t working saying pin pad error and he was getting irritated by me? Then we used a physical card and it went through. but sadly it doesn’t end there. we get our coffees. straight milk. the red bull drinks were good but how could you even mess that up. Then the chicken sandwiches were like microwaved school lunch. And as i write this kid you not my stomach hurts. While we wait for our food to be finished the guy there rolls his eyes at one of his coworkers while someone orders. i would never return. i’ll stick...
Read moreI usually don't a write reviews, but I felt the need to share this. I visited Marylou's on a Saturday morning and order a large pomegranate red bull on the rocks with no ice, What I got was a half-empty cup. When I asked the staff if that was the full drink, I was told yes- with zero explanation or effort to make it right. The employee seemed uninterested and unprofessional, and the rest of the staff was just standing around chatting rather than being attentive.
I paid nearly $20 for a large drink, and if most of that space would've been filled with ice, that's even more frustrating. At that price, I expect better services and a full drink, especially when I specifically asked for no ice.
Honestly, I'll be sticking with Starbucks- they get my order right and treat customers with more respect. I attached the drink I was handed vs the regular...
