This museum in Quincy is a little gem. It's beautiful first of all and the information on the exhibits is informative and addresses often-overlooked pieces of American history. For that alone a visit is well worth it. It is nice to know that this story about the Perkins family has a notable addition, both Edward Harrison Perkins and his mother, Mrs. Fanny Perkins, now have headstones in the Greenmount Cemetery noting their sacrifice, his as a WWI soldier and hers, as a Gold Star Mother. We made ornaments courtesy of the Budding Artist, enjoyed sandwiches from Cafetown Cafe, and sampled some traditional German Christmas cookies. They even had wine for this mama!
