The Best Lobster Roll in Greater Boston (So Far!) 🦞✨

Very disappointed! Would not recommend this eatery, especially to out of town visitors. We always read the reviews and we in turn give our honest opinion about our experience at restaurants. As consumers we rely on these reviews. Our first impression of this establishment did not match up with the posted reviews as a reliable source. It makes you wonder if some reviews came from relatives or friends of the business. To our dismay...our experience was displeasing. The customer service was awful...the young ladies managing the front while taking orders, just rang up orders. They did not write down what was ordered so in turn this would be communicated to the kitchen. We saw staff come out to ask customers who had ordered before us what their orders were...twice! On top of that, then they asked us?! I replied didn't you write it down? I do realize some young people really don't consider or know the way to provide great customer service all the time. Yet and still this appeared to be a family owned business. The restaurant could use some updating in the dining area. Just not what you would expect. We got our order as carryout..I will say this menu is overpriced for what we ordered. We purchased one single Lobster roll w/ fries and Buffalo chicken tenders. Got back to hotel...open the container ( picture attached of the Lobster roll). I thought this item was going to be hunk pieces of warm lobster in a sauce on a Hoagy bun. I said, "What is this?" It looked like some lobster dip on a single slice of bread, which was $16.99. The chicken tenders were dry and overcooked, which was $14.99. Be aware this may not be the place for you. This restaurant is lacking in qualities of customer service, presentation, price and taste. Don't waste your money or time!

We recently had the opportunity to try a lobster pizza, and I must say, it was a rather disappointing experience. The combination of lobster (stingy) and pizza just didn't work for us. The lobster meat was overcooked and lacking Overall, the lobster pizza was cooked well and the crust was OK really however it left us feeling underwhelmed and wishing I had chosen a different option. We also ordered the mixed green salad and this is what we got minus any dressing I mean, you could sense of fate faint taste of dressing but that was it. It was ridiculous. When we asked for a extra paper plate so we could share the salad. They looked at us sideways, but reluctantly gave in. They brought the pizza to our table minus any extra plates to enjoy it on like we’re supposed to to share putting our pizza after a bite back on the tray it came from no no no. We asked for two extra plates. They brought one this place was cheap cheap cheap on everything. Once you ordered your food and paid you were on your own they didn’t care. Did we enjoy the lobster pizza? Yes, it was OK. We would not order again. It was too salty. I mean way way way too salty. When we got down to the last four slices of lobster pizza we chose to pick the lobster bits off of the slice and put it on the other slice just to have a really decent slice of lobster pizza. Not rushing back to this place if ever.

This place was not good the customer service was not too friendly, I asked about their fried platters and I wanted to add lobster and they told me I couldn't that I had to take away an option and still pay an upcharge, which was fine I wanted fried lobster, so I ordered fish, shrimp and lobster, I saw a whole pan of what looked like left out old lobster claw meat in the display case so I asked if they had lobster tail, she said yes, I said I want the fried lobster tail she said yes, what I got was fish scallops and old fried lobster claw meat, I went back to the counter and said I ordered shrimp and not scallops, I didn't even want to bother about the lobster tail, they proceeded to tell me that I ordered scallops, we went back and forth, then she went and got the chef, he said I ordered scallops, I said no, they went and grabbed the paper receipt and guess what it said, shrimp, they looked at each other confused then he proceeded to say, "well you have to give me back the scallops" I just looked at him confused went back to my table and brought back the plate, the lady looked at me and said reluctantly and rude, "you can just keep the scallops" but you can tell they didn't want to the chef was ready to reach in my plate and pluck each piece of scallop out, they gave me my shrimp, I sit down and as the place looks the food was not good, it tasted like old seafood, neither one of us liked our plates, we picked at it and threw it away, we drove all the way there thinking we were getting fresh seafood since it's located right on the water and you know nothing is better than New England sea food well this wasn't anything like the seafood in New England and...

I would give this place 0 stars off the service alone. I ordered online right when they opened on my lunch break (which is 30 mins). I ordered a small cheese pizza and onion ring and the order said 25 mins for pickup. I live 10 mins from the place so was hoping to pick it up right away. I show up at that time and go up to ask for my food. He said it’ll be right out. I sit there for 5-10 mins and notice there’s only 2 other customers in the store. After waiting around 10-15 mins I say something to one of the guys and he mumbles something and walks away. Then another guy comes over ask my order. The chef/ cook comes out and says oh yeah one min. He brings it out and I ask what took so long as I wait 15 mins past when it said it would be ready. He said the pizza takes time. A small cheese and regular union ring does not take 40 mins to make. Now I don’t get to eat really because my whole lunch break was up. They messed up and decided to lie about it. I’ve worked in pizza places and restaurants and it doesn’t take 40 mins to cook that meal. Second when I asked the counter person about my food he said online and then grabbed the slip next to the register. I think someone forgot to put my order in and it was made it in 15 mins when I got there. What’s the point in online pickup if it isn’t going to be ready when there was minimal customers and fully staffed place? Then they want to me seem like the bad guy? I wouldn’t go here strictly off how they handled that situation. I get mistakes happen but own up to and let me know. No one communicated with me I’m curious if I never asked about my food after waiting would they have ever...
