My wife went here with her friend. My wife is missing her Left leg and walks with one crutch and one leg. She doesn't like being labeled disabled but at the end of the day she is. She went to the counter, ordered her food, walk away to get her drinks and went to go with her friend to the table. There was no wet floor sign up. It's the first thing she looks for. Her crutch slipped out from under her on a wet floor and she fell. Customers ran over to help her up. She managed to get to the table. I got the call from her friend about the fall. The manager had just come out to talk to her (20 minutes after the fall) right before I showed up. The manager Nyra or Myra was completely apathetic about the fall to the point of being down right rude.
When I showed up, I asked for the manager. The lady at front said that she was in the office. I was shaking I was so angry. I asked her to get the manager and showed her where I would be (because my wife and her friend asked for the manager 3 times before I showed up and the manager said that she didn't come out because they moved back to the table.) My wifes shoulder, elbow and wrist were swelling and in pain (she fell on her crutch side, amputee above the knee L hand side).
I filled out the paperwork for my wife since she was in so much pain. I lectured the manager about wet floor signs which they threw up all over the store after m wife fell (there's cameras facing ever angle in that place so it doesn't matter). When I was talking about wet floor signs and every place I've worked I get a lecture about placement, the manager rolled her eyes.
I carried my wife out to the car after filling out the paperwork, went to the hospital. Bruised bones, pulled muscles and tears; no broken bones thank god. My wife is in a sling on her crutch arm. She can't walk. I have to carry her. Here we are Wed end of business day and we still haven't heard anything. We called corporate and they said we have to deal with the "franchise". I'm going in personally tomorrow to get some answers on what they are going to do but I'll be damned if we ever step foot otherwise in this location. On a side note my wife never got her food, her friends order was wrong and a customer had bitten into a bone that was in his chicken Nugget. Do yourself a favor and drive to the Greenville location, Rockwall or something else.
This was our experience, yours might differ but judging by the reviews I have questions on that. For us, we've been trying to call to just get the medical side of things taken care of but I'm about to get a personal injury lawyer. If the manager was that apathetic about taking the report and didn't care, I doubt I'm going to get any answers tomorrow. Complete negligence from the employee to...
Read moreMcDonald's is notorious for their ice cream machine not working. That's to be expected, if you ever go to McDonald's and can successfully order an ice cream product, I'd be impressed. Let's face it, that right there would warrant a minimum of a 3-Satr Review. So, we don't even try that when we go. But, THIS McDonald's apparently has nothing to offer. Our order consisted of a sweet tea, a coffee and a coke. We placed an app order and were informed when we arrived they had no soda products available. And there was a sign on the drive thru that they had no frappé products available, either. So, that leaves our options at Tea, Coffee or Juice. The person who ordered soda isn't big on tea or coffee, so we asked for an Apple Juice, in lieu of a Large Coke. Apple Juice - $1, Large Coke - $1. Get to the window, and it's a child's juice box. I asked if it was possible to get a 2nd juice box, as this is for a grown adult, and it would be empty before we even left the parking lot. They wanted us to pay another $1 for it. If we had wanted the apple juice, I could understand that. If there was something other than Coke available (Sprite, Mr. Pibb, Dr. Pepper, Root Beer, Diet Coke, Orange, etc - something), but we had chosen juice, I could see that. But, there wasn't really any options available. The manager was rude and put out that they're drink machines were a down. What really sucked about the apple juice was that it was soured.
The sausage egg and cheese McGriddle was so cold the cheese was not melted. I used my teeth to open the picante packet, and it tasted lick it had been in the chemicals. The hash browns were not salted.
All in all, this is the worst of the...
Read moreOn this particular day the Inside counter was crowded so, we decided to use the kiosk which is a pain to begin with, next to the kiosk there are drink cups in a holder that you pick up after the receipt prints out, We had already filled our cups while we waited to pay, as we approached the counter to pay for our order, the lady proceeds to give us 3 extra cups with our order & argued with me about them being picked up at the kiosk, The lady said the total which was $3 more than the original printout & said " you need to pay for the drinks" I had already told her we only had 3 drinks & we have those, so ma'am ck your screen we don't need 6 drinks . She said I have already charged you for those drinks & U can just pay what I have here.. As she continued to push about the cups, I showed her the receipt from the kiosk. So, I walked away not paying her any more $$ except what was owed to match what was on my receipt from kiosk.. She followed us to our table & said again "Sir You must pay for those or I will ask u to leave".. At this point I stood up & made a scene exclaiming "Excuse me, We already paid for $3 worth of drinks here is our receipt from earlier. .
Ma'am you want $15 hr u can't read a receipt where we already paid... you'd better quit McDonalds & go back to school and learn how to read first ....
Yes, I was rude but after her completely wanting to charge me $3 extra dollars after We had already paid what the printout showed..
Please teach your employees how to listen & look at receipts before they react and are...
