All these 2-3-4 star reviews make me laugh, some people don’t appreciate nothing good. Standards so high and judgmental, even IF a mishap or inconvenience occurred, they’re ready to switch up on the biz. Yeah, blah blah blah ….”you expected more french fries”….“ the curtains weren’t to your liking ”… “toliets were chilly during winter”…”I can’t fit into a booth ”… “parking lot wasn’t freshly striped “…. “it’s a great place but 4 stars”. Just stop, y’all should be ashamed and banned from giving reviews. At this point I can only hope the next generation gets to experience and support small biz as much as I do. For all you 1-2-3-4 star people…there’s a special place for all of you’s to choke down unlimited supply of Sam’s Club glizzys …….yes the big ole 18” ones! 😂 Anywho, this was my 1st time visiting, ordered by phone ,was ready in 10mins, found parking easily and purposely took up 2 spots to give someone somewhere something to complain about, walked in paid with cash as you do with every small biz ( not so common sense anymore) , handed waitress some tip money and the food was delicious....
Read moreI can't speak highly enough of my most recent experience at Rooster's restart.
Our waitress was absolutely fantastic! It was super busy when we were there, and so she was too, obviously. But she never missed a beat, keeping our drinks filled, offering plenty of napkins, reheating my food when my chatterbox mouth let it get too cold, and even helping one of our disabled friends with a little clean-up. Wish I could remember her name. Her service was so impressive.
The food was also delicious and very moderately priced. It seemed Ike pre-pandemic pricing, even! The potatoes and bacon were cooked to the exact right amount of crispness, which I think is quite a feat when the joint is hopping as Rooster's was that Saturday morning.
It was clean, pleasant, and full without seeming too crowded or loud. The bathroom was clean, well-stocked, and WARM, girls, warm!
All, in all, a terrific dining experience. I suggest you go to Rooster's at 1521 Yout St., 53404, especially if you've never been there before. You won't be disappointed. Bring your friends, family, and kids. This is a very...
Read moreI ranked this 2 🌟 because of the condition of the facility. This is a 1970's era drive-thru restaurant turned into a family breakfast and lunch restaurant. The current owners have improved the food and service keeping the same menu from the previous owner. However I cannot see that the current owners have done anything to improve the property. The parking lot is aging, lines are nearly invisible. Handicap parking is available on the Northside of the building but the entrance is not wheelchair accessible. The restrooms are cleaner, but small and again not wheelchair accessible. The restrooms seemed like an afterthought when built. To access them one must walk through an a partial exit and navigate through an opening that is not as wide as the restrooms. A wheelchair is making 2 "S" turns to get into the restrooms. And, once winter sets in the restrooms are freezing cold. The decor of the interior of the restaurant reminds me of "That 70's Show". While I don't totally avoid Roosters, it definitely is my last...
