I asked, "Most chains do not trust their cooks to follow basic safety procedures so all burgers are well-done or worse. I want cow still bloody. Can you serve Rare burgers?" Cashier lady said, "Yes."

"My order is 3 burgers: a Double Classic Smash replace ketchup with BBQ sauce, a Double Bacon Brisket, and a Double Avacado Bacon Club. I will eat the Classic here. The other two are ToGo."

The Classic was not Rare, bloody, or have any pink. Black outside, dry grey inside. I had difficulty finishing it. I felt sick for a few (4+) hours.

At home, I discover the bag contains 3 bags each containing a wrapped sandwich. The sandwich name paper slips were inside the wrappers, no indication on bags or wrappers.  I was charged for 2 Classics: $7.89 plus tax of unordered food.

I dread eating another Classic or the Avacado Club (looks like same overcooked burger). The Brisket may be better, hopefully will not make me sick. [4 hours since order placed. I am still waiting to recover from first burger before trying another. I will attempt to edit this review after eating the 3 sandwiches.]

I recommend not going to this store. If you must eat, Jersey Mike's is next door. If you do order, verify your order, and check your receipt. Take an antacid if you plan to eat a burger.

My order was: Store# 1292 04:55PM...

First off, this place was dirty when we went to get a table. Apparently there isn't a garbage can to throw your trash away and if it's busy the employees can't get out to clean anything. No exaggeration, my husband and I saw at least 4-5 dirty table with trash all over them. Food all over the floors too. Fast forward to the food, it was GREASY! I ordered chicken instead of a burger, I'm currently pregnant so I have to be extra careful about how things are cooked, so chicken seemed to be a safe bet. The chicken was so greasy it was pooling on top of the sandwich. The service is also pretty bad. I get it, I worked in the restaurant business for MANY years, it was beautiful out and one of those days where you just wanted to soak up the nice weather. But you still put on a fake smile and be nice to the people coming in. The cashier gave us the rundown, mumbled half of it and made no attempt at eye contact or anything, my husband noted he heard less than half of what she said. Then when our food was brought out the guy mumbled the food order and skulked back to his computer monitor. Everyone just looked downright miserable. As this was the first time we had been to a smashburger, I can honestly say, I won't be returning. If I want a good burger and people who are nice to me I'll go...

The only sandwiches I order from this restaurant are crispy chicken type sandwiches which I am a big fan of, when they can seem to get my order correct. I have placed a total of 6 orders in the span of about 3 months and about 4 of those orders had something incorrect. I blame myself though because I overlooked the bad first impression because the sandwich was good. My first time ever ordering from here I waited an hour to get my sandwich because they didn’t make it correctly the first time and they actually never got it right I just didn’t want to leave empty handed. If I’m paying you to do a task I expect it to be done correctly. My last two orders were incorrect to the point where I called them back (on 2 separate occasions) and told them, so they offered to give me a refund. I agreed but yet both of those orders still have yet to be refunded, they were from Nov 11th and Nov 25th. My last time eating there will be my last time eating there. Not only because they can’t seem to get my order correct but also because when I ordered a side of tater tots they were drenched in oil to the point were it was dripping through the tot holder and the bag. The was the first thing I ate that day and after eating it I felt horrible for the...

I went tonight for a take out milkshake. 1 milkshake. And it took 25 minutes from walking in the door to walking out!!! I have honestly never seen anyone move as slowly as the cashier was moving, it was almost comical. There didn’t appear to be a manager working, I had to eventually flag down someone and ask where my milkshake was because it was getting ridiculous. To be fair to her, she made it as soon as I asked, shame it wasn’t even tasty though! Smash burger seriously need to consider retraining/hiring another team member. The chef was shouting at the cashiers, the cashiers were meant to be making milkshakes, organizing pick ups AND taking orders?! No wonder there was a line out the door. Definitely can’t be considered fast food, more like very very very verrrryyyyy slow food! I was going to email corporate, but to be honest if they send me store credit, I would never use it anyway as I will not be returning. Also $5 for a TINY milkshake...awful.

Made me feel extremely unsafe with their hostile attitude the moment I walked in to the store. They are racist and anti immigrant Was a customer for 13 years until I came to this location. Black employees are rude and hostile towards non white / black customers. They hire either ex criminals or people who have never interacted with anyone outside their own racial background. They treat customers like dirt. Grilled chicken salad is awful. Terrible manners of front desk stuff. Not sure why they don’t of ordering kiosks. Every method has failed - app, DoorDash. Can’t avoid their inconsistency. Put your noise cancelling headphones on, as other reviewers has said, these people love to yell. JUST HIRE right kind of DIVERSE, polite Workers like from Jersey Mike’s next door. I wanted burger and I’m now getting tuna sandwich. DEI has gone too far and you can do better in training these people who are unfit in service industry outside of Philly.

Rating of “One”, because I couldn’t rate “Zero”! When you ask for a Gluten free bun at Smashberger, my research indicates that you should get an Udi’s gluten free bun, with which most GF people are familiar. Today I went in for the first time, asked if they had GF buns. When the greeter said “yes”, I ordered a burger. I also reconfirmed with the server that the bun was gluten free, and she also said yes. I thought, wow, they found a gluten free potato roll. Wrong, the potato roll was glutinous, and I’ve spent the rest of the day sick! It takes me a day to get over these mistakes. I just researched and found that I should have gotten an Udi’s GF bun. Make me really mad. This is not just bad service, someone could die from such a mistake, and there are evidently zero controls. FYI, Udi’s buns are white, Potato buns are more yellow.
