One of the WORST customer service experiences ever. I wanted to buy a $300 piece of furniture and asked someone to help me with it. They asked the other person next to them what Matts number was. The other didn't know who that was. She takes me up to the counter where she proceeds to say hello to an employee who is checking out and after talking with her and looking around tells me to just wait there. I wait and ask the lady done with a customer behind the counter if I can have some help and get some plastic because it's raining. Looked around the room again for someone and said I need to talk to Matt. No idea who this Matt is. Gives me a plastic Home Goods bag for this furniture. Say that is not going to work. Hands me some trash bags and just continues to look around the store from behind the counter and just saying umm. I walk away because she stopped even doing that. Go by the furniture to see if the plastic will work thinking they will send someone back to help me but no. I go and ask the guy fixing rugs if someone can help me with the furniture and he replies- 'You have to wait until I'm done with the rugs" EXCUSE ME? That was it. I put the plastic down, walked out the store and no one even noticed. There were about 10 employees I could see for the 5 people in that store at the time. Avoid...
Read moreThe customer service at this store is impressive and worth sharing!!! I was shopping for dinning room chairs and had found two at one store and was looking for two more. I arrived at this store in Davids and found the 2 that I was looking for but they were at a higher price. I spoke to the manager, Ashley, about matching the other store's price. She checked but could not match the other store because her price was the correct price but could offer us a 10% discount as goodwill; which we appreciated it soooo much. She didn't have to do this, but still wanted to help us out. As we looked around, we found other chairs we loved even more- but they were a higher price and we only had room for 3 of the 4. Ashley made sure to hold the 1 chair for us until the next morning. She went above and beyond to accommodate us and make our shopping experience simply awesome by wrapping our chairs to ensure no damage in transit and such things. The whole team was great, by the time we left there, we had made friends :-) Ashley, Jared and Adeese, are the reason why we keep coming back to this store (specifically)- You ROCK! Read moreI think the location is pretty good, as it's together with two other stores of the same chain - TJ Maxx and HomeSense. We were here for a quick in and out trip, so we were fairly rushed to get our items and go. Not too used to the format of this store, but we were able to find some of the items we were looking for, which was good. I lined up early to try to get through quickly and make it to an appointment we had nearby.
However, this is where things broke down - I had an eGift certificate that I had printed out and wanted to use, but the cashier helping me out was either new or just really not catching on. Using a gift card should be a pretty quick transaction, but after scanning it, she was telling me that I couldn't use it without using all of the value of it, which didn't sound right at all. Eventually, she enlisted the help of another cashier, who was able to figure it out. Also, the items we bought were glass bottles, which we would normally expect to be wrapped in some sort of paper to prevent breakage, but none of that happened. Being in a bit of a hurry, we just left, but my wife noticed that the bottles weren't wrapped up or anything, so we couldn't keep the items...
