Bojangles — Restaurant in Raeford

I ordered a family meal in the drive thru and the girl said "there's gonna be a wait on that" so I said "okay" and she turned her headset off. So I began saying what sides I wanted and she asked "what chu say you wan'? Duh family fees? Dares a wait on dat" so I said "I know, that's fine. For my sides -" and she then interrupts me saying "what did you want again?" I said the family feast and she said "there's a wait for that" and I said "I know there is, that's what I want, you've said that three times now." And I heard oohs and ahhs through the headset before it clicked off again. Then (I'm assuming) the manager came on the intercom and politely and quickly took my order. The guy who took my card for me to pay was very friendly and upbeat but Lord bless his heart. He asked us to pull forward and I obliged. I then noticed the three cars behind me also parked to wait. We sat there for 45 minutes before one of the other people goes into the restaurant and comes out with one single meal that she waited that long for. Then other people go in so I do as well. All our food is ready, the uneducated young girl that took my order was standing there asking if that was my order. I recognized her voice and attitude. I said yes and took it to the car. The food wasnt even fresh out the fryer so there was absolutely no excuse for that wait time. This location needs to stop hiring these hoke high students and hire more people like the manager. Wish I would've caught her name she deserves better co-workers and probably better pay. I forgot to mention that one of the ladies that went inside before I did had a baby in the car that had to sit there for that long too AFTER SHE WAS TOLD THAT HER WAIT WOULD BE ABOUT 20 MINUTES and she waited for 45 no...

So, we go here to get food quite frequently. Almost every time they forget something(straws, forks, food, etc.). Quite frequently they are out of something— I get it, delays in shipping, shortages whatever can cause this. The service is always crazy slow but that’s due to people not working there and a high turnover of people, I’ve never seen the same employee twice going through. But tonight was the night I’ll never be back. I got a grilled chicken salad, was eating it and about five bites in I found a dead bug of unknown species. I’m glad I saw it before I put it in my mouth. If my husband and I had time to go to the store to get refunded then we would. We won’t be back ever, or for at least a long time. I’m utterly disgusted and disappointed.

So, we went back. A couple of times. First time we got a huge picnic order and it was supposed to come with four sides, they shorted us a side. Oh, well, it happens. Went back for breakfast and they didn’t give the side of bacon for my son so I had to park and go in and ask. The guy at the register didn’t acknowledge my existence, didn’t ask what I needed. When I said thanks to getting the bacon he didn’t say anything. Like dude you need to at least say something. He was the rudest person I’ve dealt with there. I’m so disappointed in this store. They’ve gone down hill so fast. Someone needs to go in and deal with whatever...

Customer service is nonexistent. The ice machine is disgusting and moldy and there was stuff floating in my sons drink from the fountain drink station not being cleaned properly. I am so disappointed in the "service" I had today. My family walked in; waited 5 minutes to even be aknowledged...acknowledged.... mind you they were walking RIGHT PAST US, and when I asked if we should've just went through the drivethru the lady had the nerve to say "yeah probably" and walk off to tell someone else that there was people waiting in the lobby. Not only that, when she was told to take our order, she was so high it's like I was speaking to a brick wall. We waited another 15 minutes for our food, then had to ask for our cups for our drinks. We then had to ask for napkins.... after standing at the counter while the entire staff walked past us again for about 5 more minutes we had to get their attention to get some napkins...... on top of that, all the tables in the dining area were filthy, obviously nothing was stocked and literally Noone seemed to care. They had at least 7 staff members working. Not one of them smiled. Not one of them apologized for our wait. None of them cared about their job or their customers. I will not be back to this location ever again. 26 dollars down the drain for...
