I went to the drive-thru at this location (August 1, 2015 at 10:00 AM). The breakfast sandwich and hash browns were okay. I ordered a Coke Zero with cherry flavoring and when I tasted it, I had to spit it back out. I went inside and told the woman running the register that the drink I just received through the drive-thru was nasty.
Another worker said she would make me another one from the machine in the back. I told her I would like to try the one in the front since my drink originally came from the one in the back. I tried Coke Zero with Cherry from the one in front and it was nasty.
I told them it was gross and tried more flavors- regular Coke, Sprite Zero with Cherry, and regular Sprite Zero- rinsing my cup with water between tastes. Everything tasted nasty- like the base was wrong.
The manager (I'm assuming that was who it was), said she'd get to checking out the machine. It took her a long time to do it. Several employees were just standing around. Meanwhile, drinks are still going out the drive-thru. I told them they needed to taste the drinks- that they were bad and they shouldn't still serve them until they fixed it. The cashier said they believed me that it was bad. (THEN STOP SERVING THEM!)
The manager opened the soda kiosk and started messing with it. After a minute of pressing buttons, she shut the machine up and told me to try it and hurried to the back without waiting to see if it was okay. I tried a Sprite Zero and it was worse than before. It tasted like I bit into an Alka-Seltzer tablet.
I told the cashier it was still gross and what it tasted like. One of the employees filling orders for the drive-thru told me to just get another drink, that there wasn't anything they could do. I asked for a milk or an orange juice (I do not like coffee or tea and I did not want to try another soda after that Sprite Zero.) The woman reached into the refrigerator, pulled out an orange juice, slammed it on the counter and turned away. I was tired of waiting, my Mom was waiting in the car, and had already texted me asking what was taking so long, so I left.
They have lost my business at that location. That is not how you handle a situation where a customer is telling you that the soda tastes funny. You taste it and if it is bad, you immediately...
Read moreI went here a couple of weeks ago because my niece wanted McDonald's. Unfortunately, the McDonald's next door which we usually go to was closed, well...they're dining area was closed, but their drive-thru was open but had a long line. Not to disappoint an 8 year old we decided to go to Burger King next door. They had a staff of only 3 but they were polite, friendly, and helpful. My niece wanted an Oreo McFlurry from McDonald's, but she was quite elated when she got an Oreo Milkshake from here. And even though it wasn't her "McDonald's Happy Meal" she enjoyed her cheeseburger and fries, which by the way she loved because they gave her more fries than ordering extra fries for their Kid's Meal. And we were allowed to dine in. The place was very clean, the staff wore gloves and masks, and even though they didn't have change in their register, a nice gentleman helped me out with some change. I found out later from the Assistant Manager that served us why McDonald's was "closed" next door...she told us that they didn't have enough staff to run the inside. I laughed because there were 4 employees sitting inside eating and 3 staff working their drive-thru and Burger King had a total of only 3...3 emoloyees running both the inside and drive-thru. Guess no one wants to...
Read moreWe usually go to McDonald's, but my husband had coupons for BK. We went thru the DT and my husband made sure to tell the person that we had a coupon for 2 whopper meals for 8.99. We told her no cheese on one and the drinks we wanted. She said we would get our total when we get to the window. When we came around to the window to pay the lady got an attitude with my husband when he handed her the coupon. After the transaction she handed us our food and drinks, my husband asked for ketchup, she responded, we don't have any and shut the window. We pulled into a parking space to eat. When I bit my sandwich I noticed it tasted funny. When I looked at it, the bottom part of the bun was burnt. I couldn't believe someone would've let something like this be served. I know the person who made this sandwich had to see it. My husband took the sandwich back to the store. The manager knew why he was returning it. He gave him a fresh sandwich, a large fries and 2 cookies. That was nice. The only way I would come back to this place is if he's there. I hope he dealt with the employee who let that sandwich go...
