Madina Halal Platter — Restaurant in Rahway

My first time going into this restaurant and the place was very clean and smelled like fresh food. The lady behind the counter was sweet, welcoming and very friendly. Honestly it has been a long time since Ive gotten this kind of service in a food establishment. Coming from New York I’ve been wary about buying halal food from Rahway (where I live for 5 years) because a lot of food places have disappointed me in this very area. So I’ve bypassed this place for a long time. But today I’ve decided to stop in after reading its reviews and I have to say. I am pleasantly surprised the food is good and fresh the spice was perfect and the falafels were very good. I am so happy this place is close to home I will be in here often. I went to this place after seeing the reviews over here and actually I was so impressed by their plates and how well they were served and cooked. I decided to try their peef and chicken plates and what I found is that they serve them the same way as the Halal guys restaurants, I mean this kind of cutting small pieces of meat or chicken with rice and sauce. Honestly, they are more away delicious than the Halal guys and fresher taste. Also, their white sauce is soooooo much yummmmmmmmy 😅 I can't stop pouring it over my plate till I'm done 🤰 Finally, the place is clean and convenient for a big group and their prices are so much reasonable. I want to start this review off by saying if someone put one star they are very unhappy with life. I love this place the whole staff is like family to me. Every time I order food from here they treat me very nice. The food is very fresh i highly recommend the mix platter or chicken platter when you order you must have it with the white sauce and hot sauce, the platter also includes fresh lettuce and tomatoes. If you are a red onion lover like me I also would ask them to add raw onions on your platter.
