Ishan and Pooja are talented designers that will truly co-create a vision and bring something to life that you will love, just like what they did for me in designing three of my wedding outfits (all different styles).

Having outfits that incorporated vintage South Asian fashion and were still modern was something I found difficult to find until I found Rivesse through a previous friend that also worked with Ishan and Pooja for his wedding outfits. When I met Ishan and told him that I was pretty much open to anything, he brought me in to do some brainstorming and create a list of ideas that my wife to be and I loved - and he worked hard to show different variations and iterations of those designs, making sure we absolutely loved them and we did. Within just a short period of time (weeks), Ishan and Pooja came back with phenomenal custom, Indian-American fusion sherwani and tuxedo outfits. Not only am I excited to show out with my outfits, but they’re versatile enough to wear at future weddings, which Ishan and Pooja ensured during their designing, i.e., unique, stunning outfits that could be worn at my wedding and at future weddings/functions. In addition to all that he did for me, he also made several custom kurta outfits for my groomsmen that they all loved and are excited to wear as well!

Ishan at Rivesse is absolutely incredible and helped me tailor every outfit for my wedding. I was hesitant at first to buy from someone in the US as opposed to India; however, meeting Ishan for the first time relieved me of any stress. He is well informed, has great designs, immaculate quality, and most importantly he is a man of his word. He assisted me with every questions I had, gave me tips on what is currently in style and made the entire experience as pleasant as possible. He listened to what I wanted, never pushed something that he was trying to sell, and we collectively decided what would work best for the looks that I was going for. After Ishan helped design my Wedding and Reception outfits, I came to him in the 11th hour looking for Sangeet and Haldi outfits. I sent him the design that I was interested in, color combinations and feel of the look. Without ever once stepping foot in his office again, he was able to work with his wife - who is an incredible designer - and designed my entire sangeet outfit to match my wife’s outfit to the absolute tee.
