So I went to this place when it first opened up thinking that it was going to be delicious because we don't have any real Greek restaurants in the area so I wanted to support them but I also wanted to try their food. So you guys know me, know that I don't usually eat meat but this time I wanted to try their chicken gyro and I asked for tzatziki on the side. So I'm a stickler with a tzatziki I think because I actually visited Greece and I had their authentic homemade tzatziki so now every tzatziki that I try I compared to theirs and I have to say that they're tzatziki was NOT good at all. Now I did have take out so I don't know if they put the tzatziki in a container and then just had it sitting for a period of time I did not eat in the restaurant so maybe the tzatziki would taste more fresher I'm not sure so I'm just basing my opinion on the food that I ate. The chicken was very fatty with a lot of grizzle. I was disappointed ☹️. I even had my family try when I returned home they all said the same thing. I will give it a second chance and I will go inside and have dinner in the near future to give another opinion but right now for this restaurant for takeout you got a one star from me. If any of my followers would like to update and comment if you've been to this restaurant I don't mind you adding your comments to this review. If I had to rate the location it was very beautiful inside really nicely decorated reminded me of Greece, and at that point there was just two people I seen it was a young girl she was at the register or the counter a younger boy as well he was cleaning both of them might have been in their early twenties I didn't get their names they were amazing their customer service was phenomenal they were trying to tell me about the location and how they were new. I love seeing people who are authentic and real and really enjoy their job and these two really stood out for me so kudos to you and five stars for the customer...
Read moreTypically I don’t post reviews about food establishments unless they truly deserve it, and I must say Agapi deserves all of the great reviews they have been receiving since they opened. My fiancé and I went last night for dinner with friends and this place is a massive hit ! The food was absolutely ASTOUNDING and the service was top tier. All of our food came out swiftly and was cooked to perfection. You could tell that everything was extremely fresh and made from the heart; the authenticity of the food truly was palpable. The atmosphere of Agapi made us immediately feel like we were part of the family and we did not want to leave; both the owner and the chef came to greet us and engage in wonderful conversation ! Not only is this a great date night spot, but the place is definitely family friendly. They played (what sounded like) traditional Greek music, it wasn’t too loud to still have conversation and everybody always had a wonderful smile on their faces. Agapi is definitely being added to our regular rotation for date...
Read moreAGAPI!!!! It is worth the almost 45 minutes drive. Not only is the food delicious, made fresh but I have family members that have food allergies and they have no problem and love to eat here. So, yes there can make accommodations for anyone. The service is amazing. Makes you feel like your VIP at a fine dining venue. The waiter insisted that he help me seat my two ladies at the table. That gesture is something you don’t experience too much of nowadays. Even in high end vents. Staff is knowledgeable on the menu items and can easily explain what is if you’re not clear about it. You may even get to actually talk with the owners and chef, as they make it their mission to insure your time they is spent well. BYOB Come with family, friends, make it a business dinner (I have), date night, celebrate a milestone or just want to have good food. This is definitely a must...
