Breakfast sandwiches are not good at all, basically $4.00 for a stale roll with a cheap egg, kraft single baked together with cheap, greasy piece of meat slapped in the middle. They never have the good sandwiches in the day or the morning like the bacon turkey pepper jack sandwiches for god knows what reason, that is the only good sandwich they have. All in all, Wawa needs to get their prepared food in order because at the moment it's pretty disappoint for how much they charge compared to competitors. Why would I pay $3 for a shorti italian sub with hard bread and tasteless vegetables and meats when I can go down a block and get a half sub for $3 that is actually fresh and delicious at Quick Check? Store never answers the phone, ever. I have tried to call them multiple times since they opened and the phone never gets answered. Never any napkins or drink lids when I need them for hours on end. They bake stale, old, bread for the hot hoagies thinking customers won't notice that they are using old bread but we do. For how much I spend there and how pleased I was that they were building a location near me I am very disappointed. At their current state, you are better off going somewhere else. As for customer service positives, the young blonde girl with glasses who usually works registers in the morning is always very pleasant, you should be taking notes from her. She is the only one with a positive attitude and a smile. At this point there is not much reason to choose them over their competitors except for their larger variety and that's about it. A newer location does not mean you get to have bad service...
Read moreThis Wawa location has degraded over the years. It seems a new management has taken over but from my observation minimum improvement has been made. Staff are very rude with the exception of a few and I mean a few because two out of fifteen or more who work there are nice to customers. I remember making a complaint to the manager around the morning time about how the staff just lay the bacon on the wooden counter without wiping it regularly and talking over your food as they make it. The manager seemed to affirm this was normal and said the staff does wipe it after couple uses. ( I didn’t buy it though) However, the manager did offer to make me a new sandwich to ease my worry, which he’s staff did. Nevertheless, You would think after making such a complaint about their sanitary practices. The staff will use a lil initiative and wipe the counter but to my dismay this never happened. After that encounter I noticed that everytime I go into this place to buy breakfast, the staff’s will stare at me with smug looks on their faces, especially after ordering my breakfast. At first I made nothing of it. But after similar occasions. It dawned on me that my food had been compromised as a pay back for correcting their lack of sanitary standards. Be very careful eating here. Especially after making a gentle complaint. Many of the staff here are evil. I was once a regular here due to its close proximity to my house. So believe me when I say I know what am talking about. If you must eat here watch them like a hawk when they are making your food. Or else you might become a victim to their...
Read moreThis review is solely for the gas station service, not for food.
I frequent this WAWA gas station because it's conveniently located and I'm aboe to fill up my tank with superior gas 91 Octanes at decent prices.
On this particular occasion, I came here to refill my gas tank and increase the pressure on one of my tires. I was dissapointed that only one machine was functioning and there was a wait.
The problem got solved, regardless.
Then, I realized I needed windshield cleaning liquid ( I don't know the proper name now, lol) The personnel was very helpful and professional and helped me figure out how to open the hood by myself without them touching my car because it's WAWA's policy. If you are a lady, you want to be at a place like this safe and professional to resolve basic car needs.
Anyhow, I was grateful for their help and unlike other stuff members working at gas stations that I've been to, the workers here at WAWA are truly polite and well trained; prepared to come across with decent manners and appropiate behavior every single time. They are not moody at all. They are consistent. More gas stations should be learning how to keep their clients coming back by copying WAWA's...
