Wendy's — Restaurant in Rainsville

I really don't know how to start this review, so I will just jump in. We went thru the drive thru and placed our order. When we got to the window to pay everything seems fine. We pay and get our food, but if your like me you stop and check your food before you leave. Well we had a burger wrong, no big problem, so I go in to get it fixed and the meds I saw in the store was not good. All the staff seemed to be teenagers without an adult or manager in sight, one girl was eating right on the end of the make table, another boy was cooking food for himself in the fryer and a third boy was hollering around them all. I have no problem with them eating or fixing the dinners but there are places for that other than where you build my food. No one was really working just doing their own thing. Wendy's I think you need to send a capable adult to babysit these children and get back to some sort of sanitation. I only gave three stars because my order wasn't horribly messed up but things there need to get better before I decide to go back. The choice on this one is up to you. UPDATE: 4/30/22 I went thru drive thru today and the wait was long. 3 cars drove off in the time it took me to get to the speaker. Got my food and checked it. I had order tomatoes on both my burgers but no tomatoes! Went in and the lady on the food line was very rude but come to find out they are out of lemonade (all of them), sour cream, tomatoes, cheddar cheese. And they never said a word. My family really loves Wendy's location needs to be retrained or something. Every time I go I have an issue. The drive thru employee is either really rude and condescending or they leave half of my order out. Today was the last straw. My card was declined 3 times that was on them not on me. The money was there but there system was messed up but they treated me like I was in the wrong. The boy asked me I wanted him to run it again after the first denial and I told him yes. He rolled his eyes at me and dis it reluctantly. When it was declined again he did not offer to get his manager or anything. When my husband called about my treatment, because he called the drive thru worker an idiot, she became belligerent so he in turn called corporate. Went through the drive through about two weeks ago and I could hear the employees yelling and laughing really loudly over the speaker while I was trying to place my order. When I got to the window it was even louder and the poor young man working at the window was obviously doing the best he could but he was clearly upset about his coworkers. I wish I could remember his name because honestly he deserves a medal for working with those people behaving like that. I don’t believe my order would’ve been right without him there.
