Review Date: January 28, 2024; 4 stars My family and I visited this restaurant on January 25, 2024 during happy hour. There were nine of us so our server put two tables together to accommodate us. This was my first time being there during happy hour. I was intrigued by their special of half off all appetizers during happy hour, so I ordered a few appetizers to try them out along with some Jerk Chicken Wings. Our food came out within a decent timeframe; however, my mother’s order was missing. The server apparently did not write down my mom’s order so she had to wait a while for her food while everyone had their food and had began to eat. The food was tasty, and the portions were okay. The crab and cheese dip was flavorful, and you can actually taste the crab meat. The yuca cheese sticks were crispy and enjoyable; I enjoyed the buffalo type sauce with it better than the ranch type sauce. The jerk wings were also pretty good. Not as I expected but they were still good; I was not a fan of the sauce that came with the jerk wings as it was a little powdery tasting to me. I am from the islands so for me this dish wasn’t authentic, but it tasted well. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the ability to spend a little time together. __________________________________ Review Date: June 10, 2021; 3 stars My daughter was about to graduate from high school. We had a lot of family members coming for her graduation, so we decided to make reservations at Bahama Breeze. There were 16 of us. The online reservation system instructed to calI the restaurant to make reservations as the # of guests exceeded the online capability. I called the restaurant to make the reservations and told them the quantity of guests; however, I was instructed to go back to the online reservation system and make three separate reservations in order to capture the total amount of guests in my party. I questioned this as I expected that we would all be sitting in the same area. I created 3 separate reservations. I left a comment on each of the online reservations stating the situation. When we arrived at the restaurant, I went to check in at the front. When the rep realized that all 3 reservations were for one party, she seemed baffled and wasn’t sure how to handle that. She went and got someone else. The person she got told me they don’t have availability for all 3 reservations to be in the same area, and that we would be set up across the entire restaurant. This was not acceptable because that defeats the purpose of why we decided to go to this restaurant in the first place. I expressed my disappointment. They eventually got us in the same location; however, we had to wait an additional 30 minutes. We agreed to wait but no one was happy about this. This restaurant had every opportunity to prepare and plan accordingly for our situation. They were not prepared, and they did not take any of this into consideration at all. We eventually got seated and were all in the same area. We made the best of the situation and did what we could to have our celebration. It was not ideal but it was workable. One table got their food quickly but the other two tables waited quite a long time for our food. We were on different schedules it seemed. That created a little bit of a challenge but we worked with it. The food was good. The portions were acceptable. Some of the dishes were not well seasoned and required additional salt and pepper. Our servers were good. The male server for the two tables was very professional and offered good suggestions. He was not very timely with our food but he was friendly and approachable and did his job. The female server for that one table was also professional and brought out their dishes expeditiously. My favorite item was my drink. Other than the inconveniences experienced during the reservation process and once we arrived there, we managed to have a satisfactory celebration. In the future, I would definitely be considering another restaurant that can better accommodate us.

Came to this restaurant last night with family. The atmosphere seemed nice, the servers were kind and quick to order our drinks and appetizers. Everything came out fast but things slowly started to go down hill. The alcohol beverages tasted like they were non-alcoholic drinks, the server jokingly responded like that was normal so I asked for extra alcohol to be added on my second round of drinks and nothing. We ordered ALOT of appetizers but still wanted entrees. When our server came back she asked did we want to order entrees and we said yes. She didn’t take our order. She left and went and sat two tables over where she was on her phone as well as several other servers. Taking selfie’s and whatever. I had to call her back after 15 mins of waiting to get our food ordered. Two of us at the table ordered the churrasco steak entree. It comes out in half the size it normally is, and is burnt. We asked for medium well and got over done. The table was shaking trying to cut into it to see the inside. We asked the server could she get us another steak. We didn’t want a refund we just wanted our meal we came for. We spend hundred already on appetizers and alcohol atleast we could get our food cooked right without a refund…. She goes and gets the manager. The manager says she can refund it, we say no, we want our steak. She says the stoves are off, we said turn them back on we want our steak. So the manager takes our plates and goes and cooks the steaks herself. The steaks we get this time, still small but 10x better even the plating is different. We get our food Togo because now they’re closed. Just to get back to the hotel and find a WORM in our food. 😭 never going back to a Bahama breeze ever again !

My wife and I recently dined at Bahama Breeze for lunch and were thoroughly impressed by the experience. The highlight of my meal was the jerk chicken, perfectly complemented by yellow rice, beans, and plantains. It was a delightful burst of Caribbean flavors. My wife savored her plate of succulent coconut shrimps, paired with rice and a fresh house salad. We treated ourselves to the key lime pie for dessert, which was absolutely amazing. A perfect balance of tangy and sweet, it was a memorable end to our meal. For drinks, I enjoyed a refreshing pineapple juice, while my wife had a delightful strawberry lemonade. We were a bit disappointed as they had run out of ingredients for the “Virgin Pineapple Ultimate,” a drink I was eager to try. This was a minor setback in an otherwise great dining experience. Our waiter deserves a special mention for his pleasant and patient demeanor, especially as we took our time deciding what to order. The ambiance of the restaurant was calm, with soothing Caribbean style music that added to the overall relaxed atmosphere. It was surprisingly uncrowded for a weekday lunch, which made our experience even more enjoyable. The cleanliness of the bathrooms was a pleasant surprise, adding to the overall positive impression of the restaurant. However, there is room for improvement in the menu presentation. It was somewhat challenging to navigate, with a heavy emphasis on drinks over food items. If you’re in search of a nationwide Caribbean restaurant chain offering a decent culinary experience, Bahama Breeze is a solid choice. Its combination of flavorful dishes, cozy ambiance, and friendly service makes it a restaurant worth visiting.

I have never ever had an issue at any Bahama Breeze that I have been to. I have came to this specific location twice before this time and no issue either, but this time that I went, the service was horrible. Server was terrible( Nyree B )! I got to the restaurant and as soon as I was sat I ordered my appetizer(Fire Cracker Shrimp) on the little table kiosk, server did NOT check on us until 10 minutes after getting sat and still even then did not take drinks, so when she did come back after another good 5 minutes we ordered drinks and food at the same time, which I was okay with at the time since we just assumed she was busy. Keep in mind at this point it has been about 20 minutes since we had placed our appetizers. I look around and just see her standing around. Anyways, appetizer was brought about 3 minutes before our entrees and was cold but we were hungry so we just ate it. I have ALWAYS ordered the strawberry lemonade, personally it is my favorite because of this specific taste it has and servers always shake the lemonade before pouring in the cup but she did not, which I did not think anything of, so when i tasted it I just thought the drink was made wrong. But when I poured the rest into my cup I realized that taste I was looking for was all the way in the bottom, at this point my STRAWBERRY lemonade wasn’t even pink because the only liquid in my cup was whatever makes it sour.

First time eating at BH in almost three years and I can’t say that I’ve missed this place. For starters a woman at the check in desk sat us at a table where there was no server. We waited for more than 15 minutes and no one ever showed up. Wait staff kept passing us by but know one ever stopped to wait on us. We asked/inquired, but still no one. Finally, we stopped one of the wait staff who stated she just started her shift and not only did she help us, we were able to move our table so that she could wait on us. Hannah was the absolute best!! But what a shame that we were left alone for so long. As for the food, I decided to try the Jamaican Jerk Wings again and I’m so sorry I did. They were waaaay overcooked, tough and definitely tasted like week old wings. I understand what jerk seasoning does to chicken, but I know what fresh wings taste like so there’s no reason or excuse for the wings to be so hard and very difficult to chew. Looks are definitely deceiving… especially on one side. But turn them over or bite into them and you’ll see. The wings are definitely not worth the money you spend for happy hour or regular price at that. They are not cooked fresh and with that mass production of wing orders, they’ve probably been previously frozen, reheated and served. Save your money!!! Bahama Breeze please get a new recipe and while your add it, get some fresh wings too!

Polite staff but they were struggling, most likely due to incompetent management. On a busy Friday night, the waiting area was filled with angry customers who were incorrectly informed of their wait time (which turned out to be around 2 hours). There was a whole outdoor seating area which would have been perfect during COVID-19 but for some reason it was closed off. Once we were seated, we attempted to order drinks from what turned out to be the most pathetic bar in restaurant history…all tap beer was unavailable, several bottled beers were unavailable, leaving only the flavorless lagers that are of poor Milwaukee quality but sold as premium imports. The liquor bottles were hidden from sight so there was no way of telling what liquors they did have. The “Bahamarita” cocktail was basically fruit juice. Then the food... Initial picks for appetizers and food were unavailable, no surprise there. Oxtail was salty and dry. Jerk chicken sandwich was dry pulled chicken on a stale bun with literally nothing else on it. It was completely inedible, and when the server took it away, she did not offer an alternative or an apology. Fire roasted Jerk shrimp appetizer was definitely not fresh shrimp. The only interesting dish was the plantain bowl, although I wouldn’t order it again. A complete waste of time and money. I couldn’t wait to leave and go get some real food.
