Overall: A This is one of the few places that I’ve had the chance to visit at several locations and the experience has been amazing each time. I’ve come with friends or one on one with my wife, it’s been great each time. Food: A+ The food is excellent for breakfast and brunch. It makes it also a great healthy choice if you want gluten free choices (they can accommodate you). Service: A The service was great and friendly. We didn’t have to wait to be seated. Honestly, that depends on the location and when you decide to arrive. But the hostess was friendly and welcoming with a big smile. The staff at this location seem to be young and energetic. The food didn’t take too long to come out and was very attentive to our needs. Ambiance: A It’s a very casual place. No need to dress up. Lively, but not too noisy. The music is there but not too noticeable. Big windows that let a lot of natural light in. We’ve eaten both outside and inside; you will enjoy it either way. Price: B+ Obviously, perception of price is relative depending on your income. But I’ve been to couple similar style restaurants, and I would say that the price could be perceived as a little high to some for just breakfast. For two, you might pay around $45-60 (tips included). Parking: B At this particular location, parking is somewhat difficult because there aren’t that many parking spots in front of the restaurant. But there’s a big parking lot several feet away, so it’s not too bad. Restroom: N/A Unfortunately, I’ve never been to the restroom each time we’ve visited so I can’t speak on that. The whole place seems to be well cleaned and maintained. Overall score: A Highly recommend this place! 😊 P.S. Our server name was Jacob (with glasses). Very nice guy!

My first visit to First Watch was an amazing experience. I ordered the veggie burger with mixed greens off regular menu. This was the best veggie burger that I tasted. This is almost like a gourmet veggie burger with fresh ingredients from the farm. The organic mixed greens salad had the lightest dressing topping it with superb flavor tingling my taste buds. I have searched high and low for a simple mixed green salad with light, barely-there dressing. I am thoroughly pleased. My son ordered the short ribs omelet off of the new seasonal menu. The meal filled him up completely. Who can deny the sumptuous flavor of thinly sliced short beef ribs that are braised in savory red wine with house-roasted shallots. Also, the staff were very friendly and accommodating. We were outside and decided to transfer to inside of the restaurant. It was done swiftly and we kept same server. Side note: They even have dairy-free creamer and raw sugar for coffee for those avoiding dairy. An awesome place to dine for everyone.

Called in an order. Made it clear I wanted the chicken salad sandwich ( which comes hot open faced with cheese and tomato) With the bread simply extra toasted and Cold chicken salad. No cheese no tomato. So 2 pieces of toasted bread and a scoop of cold chicken salad. Do not pan toast, do not put chicken salad in salamander. They could put the two slices of toast and chicken salad separate and I would assemble if needed. THREE TIMES I sent it back with caveman like instructions to keep it simple. Three times it came back the same. Ultimately I gave it back and asked for a refund. Manager, nice African American gentleman processed my refund. However when I asked for the receipt of the void he first told me the system didn’t do that and just had me take a pic of receipt. I manage restaurants and that simply is not true. He just wasn’t trained properly in the POS functions. He eventually did give me a receipt after I told him that was not true The highlight of my entire visit was the hostess. Didn’t get their name but they have long hair, and eat salads and work out regularly lol. ( learned this info in the long wait I had) They had great customer service, wonderful affect, and a positive and sympathetic attitude. They are a keeper! I don’t know where the disconnect was. Did the server not put the modifications on the ticket, did the kitchen not read the mods on the ticket, did the expo not check the ticket mods to the food before packing and sending out? Once I spoke to the manager, who was wearing a kitchen jacket and thoroughly explained what I wanted and confirmed he understood, they should have made sure that it was completed correctly and taken ownership til the end. Please find the disconnect retrain appropriately. This could easily have been avoided. I still left a $5 dollar cash tip on my $15 refund as servers don’t get paid a fair wage .

Based on this dining experience, I would eat here again, but I would not seek it out specifically. The iced coffee was awful, like drinking maple syrup straight out of the bottle...did not taste like coffee at all! For food, I ordered eggs, bacon, and a Belgian waffle. The waffle and the blueberry compote for it were great. Waffle was light and fluffy! Service was good-no complaints there! However, the layout of the restaurant was terrible. It felt like all the patrons were packed into the place like sardines, so I didn't enjoy the closeness and lack of maneuverability. They also have it set up where the entrance/waiting area is the same space as the cash register where you pay, which logistically was a mess and frustrating to watch and wait for a clear opportunity as people crowded that area. That part made no sense to me and is a large part of why I took away stars. This is a problem that is easily fixed by having guests pay at the table.

Haven't been to first watch in a while and super glad we did! I got the Shishito Brisket Hash and my partner got the Strawberry Tres Leches French Toast. Both were impressive! The hash was the perfect amount of savory. I got Scrambled eggs on it, and the mix of everything in each bite was delicious. The potatoes especially were delicious, but was a great compliment to the rest of the dish. The French toast came out with syrup, but we didn't feel we needed any of it, it was perfectly sweet as it came. The gingerbread pieces in the whipped cream gave a satisfying crunch, the caramel drizzle played a perfect flavor to add to the tres leches french toast. Every bite was amazing when combined. We kept swapping between the two dishes. Jumping from sweet to savory, and we both walked away wowed. I generally just post pictures on Google, but I was impressed enough to write about these 2 dishes several hours after eating them.

They always have good food and fresh ingredients. This time was the exception. I ordered the breakfast tacos and they served them with rotten avocado on top. It would have been better if they had told me beforehand that they were out of avocado and didn't serve me old rotten avocado. In the plus side our Server was excellent. She kept checking on us and making sure we had everything we needed. Overall, It was very disappointing to see my meal that's why I took the picture maybe someone from First Watch will read my review and make sure this won't happen to other customers. Or will fire the chef that served rotten food, can you imagine serving a tomato with black spots and mushy? This is bad Business when you serve spoiled/rotten ingredients on your meals not sure how anyone thought this was ok. Very disappointing...
