Thank you Claudia for excellent service and delicious food again Another visit, another update, another excellent meal and excellent service from Jenny! Jacob and Cameron were very friendly and came to say hello, and the hostess made me smile, I'm sorry I didn't get her name. KJ the manager was present and friendly and shook my hand. All in all, they all made my experience just the way I want it. Perfect.
Today was my third visit, and I would consider myself a regular now. Even with a twenty five minute drive, I will try to come here every time I'm in the raleigh area. I had the same thing each time, but it has been absolutely delicious! Bacon, eggs and the pancake with coffee and an orange juice. It's my favorite meal and they make it better than I can at home. The parking lot in front of First Watch is pretty small, but it's next door to a large parking lot so there's always plenty of parking. The place has been busy each time and yet I did not have to wait. The bathrooms are clean and the atmosphere is welcoming and festive. And now to drop a few names of the greatest representatives of this restaurant. The host, Jacob, and hostess Sandy are outstanding and busy and friendly. A different Jacob was cleaning tables, and i'm sorry to say, I did not get the name of the woman that was cleaning tables during today's visit, but they were both busy, professional, and crushing it! Three waitresses have served me and each of them was outstanding, friendly, informative, and they represent the place well. Cameron, Tia, and Nicole earned my gratitude and return business. The manager, Kioni Jr. (KJ) visited me at my table and we had a great discussion. He certainly has mastered the art of management, and he runs this restaurant like a well oiled machine! I've had a few other things there, including a blueberry lemon muffin thing, and a watermelon cucumber drink! Super delicious food, service, and atmosphere make First Watch one of my TOP favorites in the area. Thank you for giving me another great option to enjoy a meal in the...
Read moreCalled in an order. Made it clear I wanted the chicken salad sandwich ( which comes hot open faced with cheese and tomato)
With the bread simply extra toasted and Cold chicken salad. No cheese no tomato. So 2 pieces of toasted bread and a scoop of cold chicken salad. Do not pan toast, do not put chicken salad in salamander. They could put the two slices of toast and chicken salad separate and I would assemble if needed.
THREE TIMES I sent it back with caveman like instructions to keep it simple. Three times it came back the same. Ultimately I gave it back and asked for a refund. Manager, nice African American gentleman processed my refund. However when I asked for the receipt of the void he first told me the system didn’t do that and just had me take a pic of receipt. I manage restaurants and that simply is not true. He just wasn’t trained properly in the POS functions. He eventually did give me a receipt after I told him that was not true
The highlight of my entire visit was the hostess. Didn’t get their name but they have long hair, and eat salads and work out regularly lol. ( learned this info in the long wait I had) They had great customer service, wonderful affect, and a positive and sympathetic attitude. They are a keeper!
I don’t know where the disconnect was. Did the server not put the modifications on the ticket, did the kitchen not read the mods on the ticket, did the expo not check the ticket mods to the food before packing and sending out? Once I spoke to the manager, who was wearing a kitchen jacket and thoroughly explained what I wanted and confirmed he understood, they should have made sure that it was completed correctly and taken ownership til the end. Please find the disconnect retrain appropriately. This could easily have been avoided.
I still left a $5 dollar cash tip on my $15 refund as servers don’t get paid...
Read moreI came in early Sunday morning and was greeted by one of the friendliest faces I've seen in a long time. I'd like to say I'm exaggerating but I'm not. She sat me alone as I was waiting for a buddy of mine to roll out of bed and meet me. I ordered a Bloody Mary and she informed me it was to early to serve it but she would be more than happy to give me a virgin one with a smile. Her smile made me smile too, so I said sure, that would be great. As she went to get the tomato juice, I possibly added the rest. Jk. Anyways, I finished my early morning tomato Mary and left a tip for service Picked up my friend and returned an hour later. This time to handle brunch business on the rocks. Maybe it's just me but we had a seriously pretty lady as our server and she was on her game. Turns out the first server earlier told me that our current server was showing her the ropes. The first server told me that she really looked up to the the supermodel waiting on us at the moment. I thought that was a very human moment that we should all hope to see more of. So when the food came it was hot and really flavorful. The brunch alcohol exceeded expectations compared to other spots. The place was packed and delivered on every dining experience checklist a man can have. Food: way above average for breakfast. Drinks: Fun and worth your money. Atmosphere: not one crying kid🤣.jk I love kids. Atmosphere was comfortable and you only needed a low talking voice. Service: For 2 experiences in one morning, I have to say they were both very inviting and attentive. 5 stars for sure. Would highly recommend. But if you get the same server I left my number with......I mean a tip with, your in good hands. And the young mini her she's training is just like her. So basically, go there if you have eyes to see and...
