The waitress we had was horrible!!! There was only 6 people total in the restaurant at the time. She came and took our order I ordered the Breaded Farmhouse chicken sandwich that comes with lettuce, tomato, cheese, bacon and pickles..she brought my fiance and my kids food out and everything was great...she then brings me a hamburger with bacon, mushrooms, onions and cheese, mind you I'm 8 months pregnant and starving so I kindly told her I ordered the farmhouse chicken sandwich she says ok I'll take it back..I'm already annoyed because now everyone else is eating and I'm sitting there waiting hungry...she comes back out and brings me a grilled chicken sandwich with mushrooms onions bacon and cheese...I told her not trying to be picky but I ordered the BREADED farmhouse chicken sandwich...and this sandwich is grilled...she had the nerve to say well it depends on how u want it...for one the menu doesn't give u an option for a grilled sandwich second I asked for the BREADED farmhouse chicken with lettuce tomato cheese bacon and pickle...you bring me a grilled chicken sandwich with mushrooms onions and cheese..my fiancee asked for another sweet tea when he received his food and we waited 30 minutes still no sweet tea...so I had to ask for the manager because at this point I couldn't even enjoy my food and was disgusted by the way this waitress was handling everything..the manager was GREAT took care of the bill even offered to make the sandwich the correct way which I declined because I just lost my appetite...everyone else loved the food but I would never go back as long as that waitress is working..the manager was great but that waitress just HORRIBLE. 2 stars and that's only for the managers and because my family...

We ignored the rating & came for dinner as hubby just wanted "regular, comfort food" somewhere close by. I mean, how bad can it really be 🤷♀️
From the very start, it was obvious the waitress did not want to be there. Everything took a long time despite only having 4 customers (including ourselves) in the restaurant. Drinks, orders, food, service... She spent more time staring at the kitchen wall or talking with the manager on duty than serving her 4 customers.
Hubby ordered a cup of chicken noodle soup for an appetizer, lemon garlic chicken for dinner & I got the smaller portion of the country fried steak. Eventually, we asked if hubby would be getting his soup soon as we had been waiting for such a long time. That was the wrong question to ask the waitress as she snapped at me over it. 😳 We assumed they had a pot of soup on the stove - just pour a cup & serve. We were wrong - it must be refrigerated & need warmed up or something because when they brought it out - AFTER they served our meals - it was cold. And no flavor. The noodles actually looked old, very unappetizing. Hubby's "buttered corn" came out yellow/brown, dry and shriveled up, no butter, a tasteless chew. He set both of those items aside but was able to eat his really thin chicken breasts.
I ate part of my broccoli, but didn't eat the moldy parts. The country fried steak was a sad disappointment with no flavor but edible.
We both left disappointed and $40+ poorer.
With only 4 customers in the restaurant, this was an opportunity to shine that was definitely missed on everyone's part. Save your money for someplace that actually cares...
Read moreI had one of the worst experiences ever this morning at this restaurant as I went to have breakfast with my 14 month old granddaughter and her other grandmother. I believe there may have been one other table occupied when we were seated at our table (so obviously the place was NOT crowded). We two grandmothers sat on each side of the table and placed our mutual granddaughter on the end in her high chair so we could both assist with cutting up her food and helping the baby (we dined here together previously the week prior and did the same thing). An employee came to the table (which also ended up being our waitress) and I wasn’t sure if she was a manager or what; extremely rude and demandingly telling us that “that baby can not sit on the end it is against policy and a tripping hazard”. The restaurant has extremely wide isles and there was only one other table in the restaurant even being used and they were nowhere near us. We simply replied it is easier with the baby for us, she replied “I don’t care you have to move her”. Which we then did but in hindsight wished we had just left. She then was our waitress and continued to be rude and loud to us as she took our order; when we asked a question on the menu she took her pen and circled the menu and said “it is right here read it”. We will NEVER come back to this restaurant again as well as tell everyone we know not to as well. We did ask in the beginning of all this if we could sit somewhere else with the baby if she could not sit at the end on this table and we’re told flat out NO. I do wonder if we were a party of 5 would someone have to sit at a table all...
