Extremely Disappointed and Dissatisfied
I placed a mobile order today from Chick-fil-A before heading to work, expecting the usual quality and service I’ve come to know. Unfortunately, this visit was anything but that.
From the start, I noticed the young lady bagging my food had a clear attitude when the young man at the window asked if the order for "Ria" was ready. That alone set the wrong tone.
But the real issue? I do not eat pork due to religious reasons — no bacon, no ham, none of it. Yet when I opened my sandwich, I saw bacon. I was completely taken aback and couldn’t eat it. I settled for just the fries and tried to brush it off, thinking at least I’d have the salad I ordered for later (since I get off work at 1am).
Unfortunately, that was also wrong. I ordered a Southwest Salad and instead received a Cobb Salad, along with three packets of honey mustard — not even close to what’s supposed to go with either salad. At this point, the mistake felt more like a joke than an accident.
I called the store and spoke with someone named Matt, who was dismissive and unhelpful. He claimed to have spoken with another manager named MJ but still offered no solution. When I asked to speak to someone higher up, I was told he’s it and was given the customer service number instead.
I was frustrated, irate, and left without any of the food I paid for. I spent over $21 — and couldn’t eat any of my actual meal. Chick-fil-A is not a cheap place, and I expect better quality and service.
At this point, all I want is a full refund. I don’t think that’s unreasonable considering I received the wrong items, poor customer service, and no resolution.an never go wrong...
Read moreSecond update: Terry has responded with a generic email about my mush hash browns and undercooked biscuit. I have attached a photo of the generic reply. Clearly if he doesn't care, this trickles down throughout the whole team. I can see why this Chick-fil-A has low ratings and low quality food. If management doesn't care, why should the employees?
Updated review from 8/24/22. I came this morning when it wasn't busy at all. I placed an order for carryout since I expected drive thru to be backed up. Drive thru had one or two cars in it - no line whatsoever. I had to wait on my order inside (I did get there quickly), which wasn't a problem. I heard the lady that was filling my bag yell out to the kitchen that she needed the egg and cheese biscuit. I'm not sure if this made them rush or what the problem was. My food has never been this bad anytime I have visited this restaurant. The biscuit looks raw / not cooked all the way. I hope they weren't rushing since I was waiting. I wasn't in a rush to get the food so it didn't matter to me how long it took. The hash browns were a complete joke. There were maybe three "whole" hash browns inside the container. The rest was mush. It looks like I was given someone's leftover hash browns. I have attached photos for reference. I did reach out to them via their contact on the website. I received a generic reply from their care team - hopefully I can address this with this specific location. I don't come here as often but I do get the same order each time so I know how the food...
Read moreMy recent visit to the Chick-fil-A on Town Ridge Rd left me with mixed feelings. Generally, I'm a fan of Chick-fil-A for their excellent service and tasty offerings, but this particular location fell short of the mark.
The first noticeable hiccup was the lack of politeness from the employees. Chick-fil-A is renowned for its friendly and courteous staff, so encountering a less-than-friendly demeanor was surprising and disappointing. The charm that usually accompanies a Chick-fil-A visit seemed absent, making the overall experience feel less welcoming.
To add to the frustration, I received a serving of burnt fries. Now, I understand that mistakes happen, but what left a bitter taste was the lack of acknowledgment or resolution when I reached out about the issue. I expected the Chick-fil-A team to be proactive in addressing concerns, but unfortunately, my attempt to communicate went unanswered.
This departure from the usual high standard of service at Chick-fil-A was disheartening. While every establishment can have its off days, it's the responsiveness to customer feedback that sets a great place apart. In this case, the lack of follow-up left me with the impression that customer satisfaction was not a top priority at this particular location.
I hope this feedback serves as a constructive critique, as I believe Chick-fil-A has the potential to maintain its reputation for exceptional service and...
