Bazil Indian Cusine is a recently opened restaurant in North Raleigh. It is well situated on 6602, Glenwood Avenue in North Raleigh. There timings are 11am to 2.30pm and 5.00pm to 9.30pm daily. Small in size, but comfortable sitting. Embience is simple and sober. It is owned & run by family. Well situated and easily located on Glenwood Avenue . A location of this independent standing restaurant is great as it is surrounded by multiple businesses. Easily visible from main road ( Glanwood Avenue). On the left of this restaurant is Walmart and little shopping street and on the right, across the street, Panera bread, Comfort inn motel & other businesses in about 1/2 mile area, many other businesses are there but not many food business except Panera bread and couple other so this restaurant do not have much compitition. Good possibilities for having good business year round. This restaurant serves both types of Indian foods, veg and non-veg. We visited on Sunday around 8 pm. They close at 9.30pm everyday. I like to visit the places either late or busy hrs. It shows true customer service and food quality being served. I was pleased that Bazil Indian Cusine got 10 on 10 for their services . There items are little pricy compare to the quantity served. We are vegetarian. We ordered veg. Items. 2 appetizers, 2 curries with rice, nan and drink. All food items were great in taste but I felt too much sugar in every dish we ordered. Though we asked for medium spices, the food was more oily and sweet. I cook a lot and know, to balance heat and salt lavel, most spicy foods balanced adding more oil, sugar and sour. It tastes better but people who has health issues like diabetes or acid reflux etc, can face consequence but it depends what you order. Customer service was good. As it is family owned, and newly opend business, the key people were there for the service. I hope, they continue same good standerad even after being popular. Overall it was a...

Mera Pati and I make indian at home every single day of the week since he’s originally from Mumbai. We’ve traveled frequently to many cities in the US, and have been to probably a hundred different Indian restaurants throughout the US. Living in the triangle, we’ve also tried nearly every Indian restaurant.
We ordered the hirayali chicken appetizer, the chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, mango lassi, and paneer makhani.
To start, this is literally the ONLY place in the United States and major cities that makes their paneer IN HOUSE. It tastes like it’s made in India— soft, not springy like the store bought. The ONLY place. Hands down respect for that. We’ve made paneer at home, and you taste the love, care, & time. Tons of paneer in the dish, TONS.
Additionally, the chicken tikka masala gravy was phenomenal— I felt I could break down the different flavors and can tell it was hand made or made without the use of a jar or premade mix that most restaurants order. This was made in the kitchen. Creamy, properly balanced spice, and ability to identify and differentiate the flavors that make the cohesive whole.
The hirayali chicken was so, so tender. Boneless. The chutneys are thick (as they should be— a good indicator of not being watered down).
As a gluten free individual, my partner and child said the naan was very soft on the outside, and “crisp” on the inside. Our child enjoyed it so much, she wanted me to watch her bite into it and see how soft it was.
My little one had the mango lassi, and it was gone and enjoyed so quickly, I can only assume it was good.
Very kind, professional, attentive, and most importantly, respectable. Incredibly evident the love, care, and just impressive culinary talent of this restaurant.
We will be back! This is the best in the triangle, truly, for those familiar with and connoisseurs of...

Upon entering the restaurant itself you can enjoy the ambiance. The restaurant was very clean, the artwork, decor and table setting very nice and seating very comfortable.
Incredible service from the beginning to the end.
Upon entering into the restaurant I was greeted by a nice young man Abhi who was the host and also waited on me. He was very friendly, polite, patient, attentive, and gave great recommendations. I believe that he was also the mixologist and made some outstanding drinks. The rest of the staff was very attentive and accommodating.
The first amazing drink was a smoked maple old fashioned.
The menu had a nice variety and many interesting options. It was frankly difficult to choose as everything looked really potentially tasty.
After some time contemplating and discussing with Abhi he helped me choose the creamy spinach bliss kulcha and salmon la-jawb. He also suggested the Bazil Manhattan which was the perfect accompaniment to the two dishes. The one interesting thing that stood out was the fact that they make their own vermouth.
The food and beverage came out timely and was really tasty. I really was impressed with how everything meshed well together. The salmon la-jawb was tasty but I personally thought it needed some salt and lemon for acid. The waitstaff was very prompt and brought the salt and lemon back quickly in addition brought a couple of sauces I believe a mint sauce and tamarind sauce which I ended up adding to the dish which was delicious.
Finally was the dessert sampler and Kuri-Kuri Cinnamon drink which I decided to take a photo of. Wow this was a perfect finish to the evening. Again everything meshed well together and...
