I visited this specific establishment today and ordered through the McDonald's app. When I approached the counter to pickup my food, my food was cold and my nuggets were soggy. They were brought to me from under the heat lamp. When I informed the employee who was later identified as "Surrie or Surry" her immediate response was, "Well you waited an hour to come get your food!"
Absolutely the WORST customer service ever! I informed her it had not been an hour, and I wanted my food cooked fresh. As this was being addressed, the General Manager named Sandra, was sitting in the lobby working on her laptop. She briefly overheard the words exchanged, and informed Surry if the order was over 2 hours before being picked up, they remake or possibly refund the order. I assured the General Manager it had not been an hour, and verified the time on my phone. The manager said nothing.
After waiting for my food to be made, I requested an itemized receipt so I would have the corporate office information for a follow up. When I asked for her name and information, the employee attempted to ignore me, and proceed to a gentleman who had just stepped up at the register. The gentleman heard me ask for her name, and saw her ignore me, so he stepped back and said "You can finish helping this gentleman first" When she gave me her name, she said it very snappy and proceeded to take her attention right back to the gentleman who had stepped back, and asked him what she could get for him.
This by far is the WORST McDonald's I have ever been too. Fly's were all over the place, and the customer service presentation was extremely poor!
This specific location is located right near Rex Hospital. If you are staying or visiting, I recommend you take the extra 2 minutes to just go next door to Chick-fil-A. At the very least, you will feel appreciated and you will be addressed with the...

Today I waited 20 minutes on a mobile order curbside, just to go inside and have attitude from the manager, who had came OUTSIDE to serve another customer who had a mobile order and saw me sitting out there. Of course this customer came after I did, sat in the spot to order their food and still got theirs before I got mine. Funny thing is, when she came outside, she came to my car first because she KNEW that I was sitting out there.. but it wasn't my food! She didn't offer me a refund which is what I wanted and yelled at the employees in spanish to make my food, or go find it. Threw my order on the counter and walked away. No type of customer service. Read moreI stopped after a long day at the hospital 3hrs north of here was only a couple hours from home, but the line I parked in was so long, by the time I was only a car behind I was so exhausted I pulled out, which I'm glad I did for there was a line of folks waiting for there orders to still come out.. I've been here and at the right time it goes pretty smoothly, but at the time I came thru about 6 or so in the evening I just didn't feel well enough after taking treatments all day.. I happened by a Burger King and was able to use my coupons had great service and be done and on my way in a 5 or so minute time frame. Another perk the food was hot and fresh..a rarity at McDonald's lately..so I'm sure this week after treatments I won't bother but move on to Burger King again.. sorry... but the wait was just a bit more than it...
