Overall Rating (1-10): 8.2 An excellent Asian bistro that offers a culinary tour around Asia with selections from Thai, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean cuisines. The food and atmosphere were outstanding, and it's a place I'm eager to return to in order to explore more of the menu. Atmosphere (1-10): 8.4 The cleanliness and maintenance of the restaurant were top-notch. The décor and layout provided a unique and culturally rich dining experience that goes beyond merely serving food. Food: Crab Wontons (1-10): 8.6 These wontons, akin to crab Rangoon, seemed to contain real crab, a rarity in the Raleigh area. It's evident that they were made in-house, setting them apart from others I've tasted. Pineapple Fried Rice (1-10): 7.2 The high-quality ingredients were apparent, and the seasoning was spot on. The beef added to the dish was also noteworthy for its quality. General Tso's Chicken (1-10): 7.2 This dish gets an 'A' for effort. The inclusion of fresh broccoli and peppers, often omitted at other establishments, was appreciated. The chicken pieces were the perfect size for one-bite eating, though a bit more crispiness would have been ideal. Bulgogi (1-10): 7.2 The flavor of the bulgogi was remarkable, and the accompanying kimchi did not disappoint. My only wish was for a more generous serving of beef, as the dish was heavier on the vegetables. Spring Roll (1-10): 8.4 Crispy and fresh, a welcome change from the often stale-tasting cabbage-filled rolls commonly found. The dipping sauce complemented them well. Value (1-10): 7.6 The overall dining experience was well worth the cost. At $82 for three people, including appetizers, the price was justified by the quality of the food and atmosphere.

This has got to be one of the best Asian restaurants I have ever been to, if not THE best. I was visiting in town, and the reviews sold me! I ordered the shumai appetizer, and a buy-1 get-1 free of the I Believe I Can roll and the Sweet Ninja roll (my favorite of the two). Everything was delicious, and the menu item names are quirky in a cute cool-mom kind of way. You have GOT to try the mango sticky rice! Its easily becoming my new favorite dessert! Imagine rice pudding with thrice the flavor, equalled sweetness, pleasantly chewy, and with none of the weird texture. Bonus points for the heart-shaped presentation. The atmosphere is open, clean, and pleasant. My waitress was delightful; she felt genuinely personable while still being professional. Don't leave Raleigh without stopping here once!

My cousin chose this location for cousin night dinner.  It was bigger inside than it appeared and they have a large menu selection. A few of us got sushi and a few got other dishes. Everything was very good and fresh. To start, we shared Sexy Shrimp, fried wonton, pot stickers crab ragoons. Best ragooms ever! Love cream cheese but these were full of crab,  which is unusual,  and had great flavor.  Not a huge fan of Pad Thai... just because... but theirs was really good. They also had a buy one get one sushi roll which makes my pocketbook happy. Got the fireball roll which had nice and spicy jalenpeno's on it and the in roll we trust. Both were very flavorful with complimentary ingredients. I was very happy with my dinner and service and recommend a visit.

I usually do not write critical reviews for restaurants because I understand the weight a review can hold but this experience warrants one. I frequent at Sushi Thai and familiar with their half off appetizers on the weekends, however I called the restaurant to ensure the special was still running. The employee told me yes, half off of appetizers and bogo sushi is today (Saturday). I was in the restaurant within 40 minutes of the call. Everything was as expected until the bill arrived. I noticed the discount was not taken off for the half off appetizers, which was a $15 difference. The waitress said the deal was not for today but tomorrow. I explained I called to confirm with an employee and was told it was for today, per usual. She apologized and said the hostess was new and was unaware. I asked to speak with the manager. The manager (didnt get his name but caucasian male, long gray hair in a ponytail) came over and I explained the situation. He said there was nothing he could do. I showed him my phone displaying the call detail proving I called that day and the duration of the call. He asked who I spoke with but I didnt get her name. He stepped away to speak with the staff. He returned saying he spoke with the staff and no one recalled having that conversation, in fact the policies changed 4 months ago along with the menu. I explained I have come several times in the last few months and have received the discount. He said that cannot be accurate. I said regardless I called and confirmed with an employee and I came expecting the discount or i would not have ordered all the appetizers or just would have waited until the next day. He told me I should have checked the website and the board of specials in the restaurant. I said i did my due diligence by calling and speaking with the source. He said the hostess was new but knows the policies since they were enforced months ago. He finally offered 20% off the appetizers and took the check to add the discount. My dad, who was with me, said i wish you recorded it. I remembered i installed a call recorder on my device a year ago but didnt use it. To my surprise the call WAS saved on my device. When the manager returned, i played him the call. He grabbed the check and left without saying one word to me. The waitress returned with the correct deduction, not the manager. The manager coldly walked by but still never uttered a word or acknowledged us so we paid and left.

The problem was not my unwillingness to pay but it was the principle. He did not offer an apology or do anything to ease the situation. I felt vindicated but felt extremely slighted. I did not feel valued as a repeat consumer and needless to say I will never return to Sushi Thai. To management, particularly the gentleman i dealt with, that is not how you conduct business. You do not know who I am, what influence I may have, and how I could affect the company. You lost hundreds of future dollars for $15 that you ended up having to honor in the end. I hope you use this experience as a teachable moment. Kai sushi and Sono would not have allowed this to escalate the way you did. If you would like to discuss this situation, since it was not properly handled in the restaurant, I am open to dialogue, but until then at least 10 customers have been lost. Good...

Nestled in the heart of Raleigh, North Carolina, Sushi-Thai Raleigh is a hidden gem that seamlessly combines the vibrant flavors of Japanese and Thai cuisine to create an unforgettable dining experience. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we knew we were in for something truly special.

First and foremost, let me start by praising the impeccable service we received. Our waitress was quietly attentive, gracefully guiding us through the menu and answering our questions with genuine warmth. Her knowledge of the dishes and recommendations truly enhanced our dining experience, making us feel like valued guests from start to finish.

One of the first things that struck us upon entering the restaurant was its pristine cleanliness. The entire establishment was spotless, exuding an aura of freshness and attention to detail that set the stage for the culinary journey we were about to embark on. It was evident that the staff took great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, ensuring a pleasant and inviting atmosphere for all patrons.

Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the food. The menu at Sushi-Thai Raleigh is a tantalizing combination of Japanese and Thai flavors, offering a wide array of options to suit every palate. We indulged in both Japanese and Thai dishes and were consistently impressed by the remarkable quality and authenticity of each culinary creation.

The sushi was an absolute delight. The expertly crafted rolls showcased a perfect balance of flavors and textures, with the freshest ingredients melting in our mouths. From classic favorites like the California roll to more adventurous choices like the Dragon roll, every bite was a journey into sushi perfection.

When it came to the Thai dishes, we were equally enchanted. The fragrant aromas wafting from our plates were only surpassed by the explosion of flavors that followed. From the aromatic Pad Thai to the creamy and savory Green Curry, each dish was a harmonious blend of spices, herbs, and vibrant ingredients that transported our taste buds to the streets of Bangkok.

As if the exceptional cuisine and service were not enough, the presentation of the dishes was truly a feast for the eyes. Each plate was meticulously arranged, showcasing the culinary artistry of the chefs. The attention to detail was apparent, and it enhanced our dining experience, making us appreciate the food even more.

In conclusion, Sushi-Thai Raleigh is a culinary paradise that effortlessly captures the essence of Japanese and Thai cuisine. From the moment we entered until the last bite, we were treated to an exceptional dining experience. The quietly attentive service, spotless ambiance, and delectable food combined to create an evening that we will cherish for years to come. If you find yourself in Raleigh, do not miss the opportunity to embark on this culinary journey—you won't be...

First of all, I have NEVER left a bad review of ANYTHING! I am usually soooo sympathetic to possible extenuating circumstances. But, this experience CANNOT go undocumented! If for no other reason, than the poor overworked and under supported wait staff!! My husband and I went to Sushi/Thai tonight at 5:15 for an early dinner. We were seated immediately by a friendly hostess. Then we started noticing that our section was continuing to be seated, but only our one poor waiter seemed to be stationed there. He took our drink orders, and shortly thereafter took our order. Now, we are looking around and noticing that this poor guy has EIGHT tables!!! Two are six tops, three are four tops, and three are two tops. (All sat within about 20 minutes of each other). An HOUR later our food got to us!!!! Our appetizer was WRONG(based on the printed description, and our multiple experiences with this dish before). It was served along with our main order which actually included a crab roll with NO CRAB!!!! REALLY!!! (cucumber, seaweed, and rice!!!! How can that not look WRONG to anyone!!!!!) Then I went to ask for a manager or owner, and the poor sweet hostess said that they were not there. Saturday night at 6:15, massively understaffed, and NO ONE IN CHARGE!!! Really, I can forgive being understaffed, if there are some extenuating circumstances. Cause I get that sometimes things happen beyond your control (someone's grandma died, someone's got the flu etc....) But when NO ONE is even present to explain the situation and MANAGE it, well I have NO patience for that!! The poor wait staff were actually running to try to meet the demand!!!! SHAME on whoever runs or manages this place!!!! We paid for our drinks, tipped the waiter generously, and left the incorrect and uneaten meal behind! We will NEVER step foot in this place again!!! I work in the food industry, and could not BELIEVE what this poor group of restaurant staff was left to try to juggle on there own!!!! GO AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!! ( if you want a GREAT alternative, try KAI on Leadmine and Sawmill!!! We should have gone there first!!!) We waited 30 minutes to be seated, and had a WONDERFUL...
