My first time at an establishment like this. I was not sure about what bubble tea was like, so my son explained how the tapioca pearls are part of the overall beverage, as well as what "cream foam" is (a foamed cream cheese, as I understand it). As a former barrista, I understood the construction of most of the drinks with that information. I tried a bit of my son's brown sugar tea, which was okay (not my usual preference for flavors though) and given the heat of the day, opted instead for a strawberry ice cream bubble waffle.

My bubble waffle came out, with about a 15 minute preparation wait. It was basically a sweet, soft, flexible Belgian waffle with a scoop of delicious strawberry ice cream rolled up inside it, topped with whipped cream, a sliced strawberry for garnish, and two strawberry-dipped cookie straws. It was served in a plastic cup, and after much debate on how to eat it, I finally removed the entire warm waffle from the cup and ate it like a soft taco. Messy, but delicious! (More messy ice cream would have been a better balance of ice cream to wafe - but quite possibly also much more difficult to handle without dripping everywhere.)

Overall, I liked what I ordered, and the other unusual offerings on the menu looked interesting too. Apparently you can request the tapioca pearls not be included in most drinks, which is likely the route I will take should I order one of those drinks in the future. I am not a fan of tapioca pearls, but my son certainly is - he asks for extra. 😁

Convenient location on campus for NCSU students, a bit tricky for those driving to park nearby, with limited on-street metered parallel parking and a single disabled parking spot. Nice interior, with ample seating, an accessibility ramp, and a huge menu that is quite frankly a bit intimidating and confusing for a novice patron. Flavors were excellent, and I expect I may be back again when next I am visiting my son on...

Buyer Beware! Just left from purchasing an almost $9.00 drink. My daughter ran in to order for me describing what I wanted and instead of fresh fruit the cashier added cheese milk to drink. It was absolutely disgusting to me, I had not had the drink for 5 minutes took and sip and even questioned should I just deal with it and I decided at almost a $10 drink, I should get what I wanted. Went inside and saw were the miscommunication happened in the order. The same cashier with the blue contacts told me unfortunately I would have to place another tea order they wouldn’t replace it. I didnt even try to explain just walked out. So extremely dissatisfied and more disappointed, so just fyi know exactly what you want going into the shop because no do overs even if you literally just ordered. Which in my opinion is horrible customer service. I honestly feel like this isn’t the shops policy how could it be so many people try these drinks for the first time do they not care about customer opinion? Sad if so because I’ve spent a lot of money in this shop and travel to it specifically. Spent over $70 one day taking my kids and their friends to get boba at this shop specifically because of the aesthetic. I will never go back! The cashier wasn’t rude but didn’t care not one bit to make the situation right and have a happy customer and for that I have to get my 9 dollars back one way or another so I will post about this place on my TikTok and my TikTok live audience. Update to my followers my previous post raving about this spot. For every dollar lost I will post to a different social media platform my experience at this place and let people know the service here. Maybe then the policy...

I would leave one star but the fact is they have delicious beverages. I am one of the biggest supporters of the boba trend and I’m willing to sacrifice a bit more pay for a good beverage. I have been going to moge tea for several years but not regularly (which I would if not for the reason I’m posting this). If you want to get a mango yogurt tea at this establishment-be warned-you will not be able to get a large size. Ever. Even if you pay for 2 mediums. I’ve been essentially been yelled at by management several times as if I was trying to rob them. I have never felt so disrespected at any food or beverage establishment. Yesterday I went in and given the fact I have never been able to get the beverage I want in a large (which is completely insane given that they offer the SAME drink in Strawberry as a large). I told the cashier that I wanted to pay for 2 mango yogurt teas. The cashier whom I had not seen before being kind told me she would give me a discount given that she knew why I was doing that. I told her she didn’t have to because I knew how it would go and sure enough they must have yelled at her because she ended up telling me-yeah so we can’t do this for you again-which I knew. Poor girl was just trying to accommodate the customer who was willing to pay. If you’d like a good mango yogurt tea in a large, I suggest Brecotea. They won’t treat you like you are...
