Penn Station East Coast Subs — Restaurant in Raleigh

My Philly cheese steak was sad. I asked for onions and mushrooms. I saw a few tiny pieces of onions, but no mushrooms. I think they need to take down all the pictures of the sandwiches. The sandwiches in the pictures are awesome portions of real looking steak. They looked amazing! I know the pictures are always an unrealistic expectation but the difference was so incredibly stark. My sandwich was mostly bread with what looked like a small amount of cat food in the middle. It tasted ok. It wasn't bad. But it wasn't better than Jersey Mike's right across the street. I will not be returning to Penn Station East Coast subs. I'm a one time customer. My advice to the management. Either make your sandwiches look slightly like the pictures. At least 10%-20% like the pictures. Or keep your mediocre sandwiches the way they are and take down the pictures. I will say the people working their were very nice, positive,and friendly. I got no complaints about them. I hope they are able to find other jobs when that place inevitably closes. The fries are awesome. If you want some amazing fries go there. I’m absolutely infuriated. I went in there and I ordered a cheesesteak with mushrooms and onions and two banana peppers. They gave me nothing except a little bit of meat on wheat bread which I never ordered wheat bread. I’m livid. I’ve tried to call them back multiple times and they just hang up on me or put me to fax machine.. What a waste of $13 in this economy and they obviously don’t give a crap because they’re trying not to answer their phones but it’s OK I’ll be. I’ll be calling back tomorrow and be asking for a refund because this is disgusting. my best friend got her food before me and her food was ordered after mine and I didn’t understand cause I looked at the lady and I said hey is my food coming up and she said oh what food and then she goes oh your order for Amber and I said yes I asked for mushrooms I asked for banana peppers. The venue was sweet. We pre called an order at around 2 then at about 2:15 we called in another SEPARATE order under another name because it was not ours. Got there and had to wait to pay for about 7 minutes. "Kyle" had the order almost ready before we got there. He handed me our food in a bag. Both orders were combined. We went back in the store and asked them to remake the food as it was A) mixed & B) cold. Kyle proceeded to laugh at my mother (who asked and was with me) and said "that is defiantly not happening" and then started talking trash about it infront of the whole store. My mother left the shop ( i went with her) to park the car because it was right infront of the building.
