Went here last night for my birthday dinner. Terrible!!! Poor customer service and the waiters and waitresses are rude. The food was ok at best. Typical Mexican restaurants give you HUGE portions of rice and beans with your meal. Not this place. They barely give you a serving. I was still hungry after my mean and ate more chips. I also ordered a margarita and it came in the smallest glass ever!!!! The restaurant itself is beautiful but the food and service BLOWS. It's also very expensive for what you get. They don't even put all of the prices on the menu and you would think it would be reasonable. I ordered an 8$ meal and a margarita (keep in mind the portions were so small) my bill was $20. My margarita wasn't even top shelf. It was ridiculous. After we finished eating we were all sitting at the table talking and the waiters were all giving us dirty looks while they rolled up silverware at the table next to us. You could tell they wanted us to leave so they could go home!! As we left they didn't say thank you have a nice night or anything. I would not recommend this place at all!!!!! I will NEVER be back..
The manager responded on my last review here on yelp in a very rude sarcastic way that this was my fault. One, to bring up what a friend of mine did is not my problem or concern. I can't help if she didn't like her drink and her tab was completely separate from mine! It took the waitress 20 minutes to come and bring us the bills. Which, is why we noticed the waiters rolling silverware at the table across from us giving us dirty looks. Now, your hours say you close at 11pm. It was 9:30pm and I get they wanted to go home but you should not make your customers feel bad for sitting and socializing. I mean really? And as far as your comment on the portion size. Your portion sizes are definitely not comparable to any Mexican restaurants i've ever been to (which is a lot) and a lot of other reviewers clearly feel the same way about that. Even the pictures uploaded on Yelp from others the rice and beans portion sizes are a joke!!! And since it took forever for the waitress to bring us checks, when she finally did come I didn't even look at the bill and just handed her my credit card. At that point I just wanted to get out of there!! I assumed she would have gotten the bill correct. However, the next day I knew I was overcharged. I ordered an $8 meal and a $4.00 margarita (price not listed on menu) and the cheese dip that your referring to should not have been on my ticket. I didn't order any cheese dip. Another member in my party did, so they should have been charged for that. So i'm pretty sure my bill should have been under 20$ there genus. I should have looked at the ticket before giving her my card.. But maybe if you had waitresses that provided good customer service I would have. Like I said at that point I just wanted to get out of that place.
I honestly would give this place 0 STARS. But yelp makes me give 1 and that's being very generous! Please work on your customer service. I know a lot of people in this area ,and I will tell everyone about my experience, and your comment you made in yelp about this situation.
KEEP DRIVING* *WARNING Will still be hungry after eating, because the portions are so small and dissapointing. such POOR...

The guy who delivered our chicken soup separately than the other food made quite a show of being surprised and thrown off by how much food we ordered, which was 3 tacos, a burrito, and soup. It was weird and rude of a restaurant staff member to have that kind of reaction. You'd think they'd be happy if customers ordered a lot, which we really had a normal amount in my opinion, because the tip is bigger on larger checks but idk.
There was a miscommunication when ordering some food to go for my partner at home where we wanted buffalo wings but our server heard mango habanero which is totally understandable if you only hear the ending of the words with the loud music playing, but the person I was ordering for is mildly allergic to mango. So I asked a guy inside who looked like the manager, just the first person who turned around to help us so not sure, if we could get some buffalo wings instead because of the allergy. I've worked in a couple restaurants and know the vibe when they don't believe you/are irritated they have to get it remade but it was weird because I was really nice about it. I was just like ok thank you and he got it fixed, but had the same irritated vibe when he dropped off the correct order.
We got up to leave the outside patio but the gate was closed and no one else was outside with us so we thought it might've been locked so were just gonna go through inside so we could also use the bathroom on the way out. The same guy that was rude/weird about the amount of food we ordered came to bus the table and was very condescending trying to show us the gate and that we could leave that way when we were trying to go inside, kinda speaking to us like we were kids and showing us how to open the gate. We were just like ok thanks I guess.
All that being said, our server was awesome and sweet and the food was good, just the support staff we interacted with had bad customer service tonight for whatever reason. First time eating here, might get the food to go in the future but not super interested in interacting with the support...
Read moreBefore posting this review, a conversation with management did occur where the sentiment was "you're entitled to your opinions". Hopefully, no follow-up response comes from management as this review should be expected.
As the organizer for a 12-person birthday party, I called in advance to ensure sitting would be available. The staff was very polite in informing me reservations are unavailable on the weekends and to call again before the birthday lunch to ensure seating. The food was the quick and usual quality, nothing out of the ordinary for someone who previously visited this establishment. I informed, who I assumed was the manager, we're celebrating a birthday and he stated "I'll go ahead and let your server know". At the end of the meal, the staff comes out to sing Happy Birthday with a complementary dessert. For some reason at the end of the song, the staff felt it was appropriate to rub whip cream in the face of the celebrated person. No discussion or permission was received from anyone attending the party to the server, host, or manager. Adding the person who proceeded with this whip cream act was the host of the day. Our server, I believe felt secondhand embarrassment as he briefly apologized and handed napkins to the celebrated person. I called management after this event happened to clarify if this was usual procedure. As I've never attended a restaurant or establishment, where they sing happy birthday and then the staff engages in such a personal act as smudging a condiment on someone's face.
As stated in the beginning of this review.. in the conversation with management much of the sentiment was "you're entitled to your opinions". "Usually we ask permission, but we didn't in your instance". We were not searching for monetary compensation, but definitely expecting an apology. This is extremely embarrassing as the person who hosted and planned the birthday lunch, and for the person being celebrated. I will no longer be attending this establishment and provided some well recommended locations nearby: Salt & Lime, Mi Cancun,...
